Huge family park. Green space, dog parks fountains, great picnic area, so much to do, including a zoo!

“A nice small zoo”
Reviewed October 12, 2013

We love Reid Park Zoo. It's large enough to spend half a day wandering around. The food is just okay but we always take the time to eat while we're there. We liked the elephant exhibit and the bears best. There are plenty of places to stop and sit while watching the animal activity.

“Excellent!”
Reviewed September 30, 2013

Really nice place, there were sections closed but I was amazed about getting that place operating in the middle of Tucson.

Get some mosquito repellent and should be fine, facilities OK and the animals are awesome, I mean they have elephants there!

Really cool place.

“Great day with the kids”
Reviewed September 28, 2013

We've been here many times. I got the membership because my kids and nephews love it so much. For a smaller zoo they offer a lot to see. The kids water play area is great on hot summer days. Feeding the Giraffes is a must.

“Nice Little Zoo”
Reviewed September 26, 2013

This zoo is definitely on the small side. It took my mother and I only about two hours to see the whole place, but we enjoyed our time there. The enclosures are nice, and the animals seem content. It wasn't too busy during our visit, which was nice, and certainly part of the reason we could see it all so quickly. They have a few animals we'd never seen before, and all the usual suspects (giraffe, zebra, lions, etc.). Overall it was a nice way to spend a few hours while in Tuscon!
