Really nice casual place with indoor and outdoor seating. Very nice wine list and a good selection of cheese to choose from as well. Service was helpful and friendly and they let us taste a few wines before deciding. Can't go wrong with a good wine list! One of our favorite spots in Tucson.

We came early to meet friends and enjoyed a patio visit with a craft brew and shared a pizza. Wait staff was very nice. Upscale mall is La Encantada with several other good restaurants and nice shops nearby as well.

Everything tastes fresh and seems unique to this restaurant. The atmosphere is casual but the food is really good. Nice selections of wines to go with anything you order on the menu. Wait staff is always considerate, friendly and professional.

Armitage Wine Bar is definitely the place to see and be seen. It was a mix ages all enjoying a cocktail (mostly wine) and lots of company and conversation and food. I, too, enjoyed good food, wine and company and conversations. It was nice to be able to sit outside, but I can certainly see that as the months progress, it would be unbearable, despite the shaded patio. They have a pretty decent happy hour menu of drinks and food. Which most people loaded up on. I avoided it despite the prices. It was pretty pedestrian. Hummus, margarita pizza, homemade potato chips. We went with the trio of bruschetta (so many to choose) and a trio cheese plate (many options as well). The bruschetta was fabulous. Fig and goat cheese, apple and baked brie, artichoke. All very good and a great size for sharing. And they come pre-cut in thirds. Nice touch. The cheese plate was mediocre. The cheese were exceptional but the crusty bread did not belong (needed crackers) and the fresh out of the jar Smuckers strawberry jam was disgusting. Where’s the chutney or a tapenade? The pile of candied buts was poorly presented. If you can look past the accompaniments, you will enjoy the cheeses. The selection of wines by the glass (and bottle) are solid. They let you taste before committing to the glass. Nice touch. The only negative, the white and rose wines are not well chilled. And in that climate and environment, you need well chilled whites and roses. We selected some excellent wines but they were not refreshing because they were not served at the proper temperature. Service was fabulous. Pleasant, polite, fun, attentive, spot on. I would return if I am ever back in the Tucson area.

I really like the food and it's always fun to go shopping and then stop in for a something to eat. I really like the prime rib sliders.
