Description: Cielos at Lodge on the Desert offers one of the best dining options in Southern Arizona. Dine on contemporary seasonal cuisine that pays tribute to Southwest ingredients, crafted by Executive Chef David Solorzano. Complemented by classic craft cocktails featuring local spirits and a delectable wine list, Cielos is the perfect place for a romantic night out or a casual happy hour with friends. The intimate space is framed with floor-to-ceiling windows and overlooks a spacious secluded Saltillo-tiled outdoor private patio featuring bistro string lighting, a four-sided, tiled fireplace for optimal year-round al fresco dining. Cielos and its bar both reflect a genuine, richly authentic Southern Arizona historic charm and ambience including rough-hewn artist-design hand-painted wood beams, Mexican tin chandeliers, floating potted plants and shade sails.

Had another nice dinner here! Never have had a bad experience. Food is always terrific, atmosphere always relaxing, service always attentive. The evening was lovely so we ate outdoors on the charming patio. Only negative was that our waiter forgot to light the outdoor fireplace, but did so later on when we reminded him. The duck is always good here, the fish special fresh, the special broccoli cheese soup and pork belly apps hit the spot. This is a place in which you can have a conversation, which is always a plus, as are the surrounding grounds.

This is a great place for a first class dinner and special occasion or just a great Happy Hour. We started with happy hour in the bar and a couple of their World Class Margaritas, which they won the title from the Championship recently in Tucson, they are superb margaritas with a bit of pomegranate jam, just yummy! The happy hour specials included mussels at the bar and some grilled shrimp so we tried those appetizers at the bar and were totally delighted, at the bar they are half price during the special time! They aso feature wines and beers on tap at special prices, but NOT the margaritas, oh well. After this we were primed for a special dinner.... seated in the dining room we were treated to special dinner of roasted duck and double roasted steak, sounds a bit odd, but believe me ...delicious! Chef at the Lodge is a first class chef and experiments with innovative dishes all the time, he is very creative and a likeable young man as well, I highly recommend this place!!!!

What a great restaurant, superb chef, the lamb is world class and the entire menu is superb, hand crafted dishes featuring local meats, produce, and a great staff. DIning is in a lovely intimate setting and the drinks, appetizers, and desserts won't disappoint. Those that read our reviews know that we go to really special places, and this is one of them.

This is a quirky place but we loved it! There was a charm and a fragrance from long gone days oozing from the walls & the gardens. Convenient for sight seeing in Tucson. Good food, service & laid back. Would like to come back again. Great staff.

This is a favorite restaurant...food is excellent as is the service. The tables are arranged so you can hear people in your party, but not those at other tables. There is a nice Happy Hour and although the bar area appears small, it can accommodate many people.
