Went to the festive holiday thing they had there. A bit pricey at $15 a head but good music -steel drums and Nutcracker ballet exhibition.

“Seeing cacti.”
Reviewed November 25, 2013

While the park is nice and provides a site to easily see southern Arizona plants I believe the fee is too much. The cafe provides a very nice place to relax for drinks & good food. I have dined here on 3 occasions. My suggestion would be to visit a different location for desert plants & landscapes and then come here for a meal.

“A gem of a botanic garden”
Reviewed November 25, 2013

This botanic garden is one of the best places to learn about and experience the sonoran desert. It is in Oro Valley and only about 15 minutes from downtown. This garden was originally a private residence. It has several indoor exhibits and miles of out door trails that will expose you to all the flora of the desert.
It also has a great little restaurant for breakfast and lunch right in the middle of the garden. There is a modest entrance fee.
