Absolutely beautiful gardens with many original architectural features. A joy to visit, worth more than one trip.

While on our annual trek to the Southwest escaping the winters of the Midwest, we sought out new adventures. Finding Tohono Chul Park was a delight. The gardens, museums, gift shops, trails and staff are amazing. For a small entrance fee, $6 for third agers, you can wander the park and enjoy the vegetation which is conveniently labeled. Docents are available for tours, explanations and information. Make certain to bring your camera for photos galore. You will love the sites and colors. The buildings, walls and waterfalls are beautifully constructed. It is a perfect place for your desert "hike" if you choose this option as opposed to the more challenging trail hikes of Sahuaro National Park East or Sabino Canyon. Go, you will enjoy it.

Nicely set up with paths to wander. Was tired of seeing cactus on our hiking trails so this was just more of the same. Nice area with some water features as well as an interactive children's garden.

A lovely spot with hummingbirds, cactus wrens, quail and other desert creatures. Several easy walks with benches, pavillions, and lovely shops with beautiful desert gifts--not tourist trap--but quality gifts. There's an art gallery with changing exhibits and a very good cafe with indoor or outdoor seating. You can buy plants or just stroll through them in the green house. Worth the stop and a place that can be visited again and again. The Christmas nights are beautiful events, too. Much of the park is wheelchair accessible. Great docents if you have questions, if not, they leave you alone to enjoy your day in the park.
