“This Place is Going Places”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 14, 2013

We headed down from Phoenix for a concert at the Kino Memorial ballpark. We were looking online for a decent brewpub close to the stadium to eat at before hand and found this place and made the right choice, no doubt in my mind.

From the outside, this place makes you question what's inside and after going in, it totally adds to the kick-@ persona of the restaurant! They have lots of bar seating, individual tables, and music at just the right volume. There are lots of tv's yet they manage to not make it feel like a sports bar.

Now to the food and drink. As the name indicates, they brew their own beer and I was impressed with their Copperhead Pale Ale. We ate lunch there and I had the french dip but lots of the menu items sounded good. The sandwich was excellent and you'll definitely want to shell out $1 extra for the beer battered fries.

Very comfortable place, great modern feel by being "rustic" and "warehouse-like", etc...just overall well done by the owners and I'll be back when I come to Tucson!

“Spinach dip and beer”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 24, 2013 via mobile

Good beer. Not the best microbrewery that my husband and I have had but still delicious. Favorites were the copperhead pale and IPA. They are not lying when they claim to have the best spinach and artichoke dip. IT IS AMAZING. we also had a good burger and salad. We would eat here again

“It lives up to its name”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 23, 2013

This microbrewery is in the old Barrio section of south Tucson, tucked into an industrial area. But the space is old west and welcoming. Their brews are quite competent (and also available at Gentle Ben's Brewpub just off the U. of Arizona campus) and their happy hours specials will fill you up without depleting your wallet. The N-C-Double-Ale was a deceptively tasty strong ale. Don't knock back too many of those or you'll be staring up at the ceiling ... from the floor!

“Great service, tasty food. Several vegan options.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 16, 2013

We chose this restaurant because we would have a dog with us, and they have an outside dining area. We also checked out their menu online and found several items that could be easily made vegan (by leaving off cheese). We found this place by Googling "dog-friendly restaurants Tucson."

We interacted with three members of staff, all of whom were friendly and helpful. One brought the dog a bowl of water before we had even gotten our seats in the seats.

Food was good. Ambience was sort of industrial/steampunk, at least outside where we watched a trainyard in action.

Somehow we all forgot to have beer, which appears to be a shame.

Gentlemen prefer blondes? Well the blonde in this hood is really good. Not exactly a trip to the barrio either - it is a really ncie place for beer and food.
