“Excellent!”
Reviewed December 23, 2012

This deli is really good--I ordered a 'Big Apple Salad' and it was exceptional because of the quality and freshness of the ingredients--generous portion, too. My husband's reuben was also made with the freshest of ingredients, piled file w/ pastrami. This was our first experience at Shlomo & Vito's and we will most definitely be returning.

“Food choices to appeal to all palates.”
Reviewed December 11, 2012

Jewish dishes----great
Italian dishes----great
It reminds me of an upscale deli in New York City-- the place of my birth.
So--- memories galore
Plus would appeal to children because of the happy colors and child's menu.

“Chopped liver - hooray!”
Reviewed December 11, 2012

We moved to Tucson over ten years ago from Southern California and have missed the Jewish delis and chopped liver. We met a local rabbi and asked where he went for chopped liver and his answer was, "Los Angeles." So we were delighted to find this restaurant. We went there on a Saturday evening, husband had minestrone and a half chopped liver sandwich and I had tomato basil soup and a half chopped liver sandwich. Our food was well presented and very good. Not a bargain, but worth it. Do note that chopped liver sandwiches are not always shown on the menu, but are usually available.

“Beautiful setting, uninspired food”
Reviewed December 2, 2012

Step away from the turkey pastrami sandwich! I've eaten boatloads of pastrami from some of the best deli restaurants in the US. This was definitely the poorest rendition. The marble rye was soft and tasteless, the turkey pastrami was very odd and unlike any pastrami I've ever tasted. Red skin potato salad was very good. But let's face it-----------------------potato salad does not an entree make.
