Overall, the amenities were certainly not the worst I've had with my family along (husband + 4 &1/2 year old daughter)---there were some unique simple things that preoccupied my daughter within the resort like the pool, walking on their wonderful self-guided trails which we liked as a family, tennis and horseback riding option.
For the daily rate of $100 + $15 daily resort fee--this particular room needed a few things replaced/repaired/added : the sliding glass door to the outside sitting area which was so discolored that one could not see out of it, the constant dripping of water on the ground immediately outside the room, and lastly---the room needed additional hooks & towel bars (only one in shower & none by the 2 sinks) if they want to encourage more "green" practices by using less towel washings.
The Happy Hour (1/2 prize on some drinks & appetizers) was a good thing which my husband & I enjoyed with appetizers arriving in a generous portion.
Would like to stay again in the future in a different much more updated room. Good for families as well as it is central to a lot of Tucson sites as the Sonoran Desert Museum, Reid Park Zoo, shopping malls, Botanical Garden, and a short drive to downtown Tucson.
