“A sample of the desert”
Reviewed November 14, 2012

I enjoyed the information the docents/guides provided to enrich what newcomers to the desert experienced. The free-flight of the raptors was impressive and the guides helped explain much about the animals' behavior.

This is the best place to get to learn about the flora, fauna and ecology of the beautiful Sonoran desert. 'Nuff said.

“A Good Time Was Had By All”
Reviewed November 13, 2012

Well worth the visit.

The summer months would unquestionably be hot but November was a terrific time to walk around, visit with the otter and see the WONDERFUL raptor show. (Did you know Harris hawks work as a team? We sure didn't.)

Nice docents, terrific trainers and a well-cared for environment.

“Fascinating”

Great reptile section, but hard to stay outside too long due to high temperatures.
I would have liked more sheltered areas to get out of the sun.

“A new appreciation of the desert”

This is not to be missed. The staff and volunteers provided a wealth of information and expanded my awareness of the desert experience. The raptor demonstration is not to be missed.
