This is an incredible place to experience a little bit of the wild west and especially if you are a western movie fan. We had a family reunion here and it was very nice, we got to eat together and then everybody had fun with the different things there is to do.

I took my mother here on mothers day. We had a great time. Rode the train. Ate some wonderful bbq. Saw the show and had a margarita. Wonderful day.

We were pleasantly surprised at the authenticity of this Hollywood constructed old west town which is noted for many films being shot here. There’s plenty to keep you busy for hours with the museum, side tours, train ride, and entertainment in various locations. As you walk along the unpaved streets you can transform yourself back to the late 1800’s. There are many attractions for kids of all ages to enjoy. It’s a must see!

Old Tucson used to be one of the biggest attractions in all of AZ. But it seems to have fizzled out. It feels old and like no one is taking care of it or has a vision. You can tell they are struggling for money as its only open weekends now. Seems this place has become more of a "theme park" or "event space" rather than a working studio. Kind of sad when you remember what is used to be before the '95 fire. They had sound stages and costumes. There were big budget movies. Now its all kind of...lost. But I guess its fun to see some of the old sets that remain. I would have liked to have one of those walking headsets that tell you what building or set was used for, like in a museum. Or a really large costume exhibit and movie history museum. Seems to me they need to get more movies filmed here. Kinda of feels they are living in the past instead of creating new film history. Celebrities used to come to Tucson frequently too cause they filmed here. Not anymore.

Old looking spots, feeling transported back in time. Bring your sunscreen if you are from a sea level town.

Thanks for sharing your experience! Yes, this is the desert and sunscreen is a must year-round. Hope to see you again next time you're around these parts!
