Old Tucson is like walking thru the door and right into the old west. From the costumes they all wear to the way they all talk-it is easy to believe they are the real people they play. We got to see a new western movie being made. And we could feel the ghosts of all the old players that are no longer with us roaming the streets and inside the buildings. Anyone who likes the allure of the old west should go to Old Tucson!

Plan on spending the day here so you can watch all of the events. They have gunfights, saloon girls, Trick Roping, Train Rides and lots of shops! We really enjoyed this place. A lot of old Westerns were filmed here as well as High Chapparal, an old TV series. The young guys that put on some of the shows are a Hoot! They are very talented and fun to watch! The Saloon girls put on two different performances where they danced and sang. They got the audience involved as well. You pay one admission fee and all the events are included except the stage coach ride. This would be fun for all ages!

Not a good value for the dollar at this attraction. Could really go any place and see a remake of this caliber; and that includes the corny cowboy gun show.

We had not been here since a fire destoyed some it in the mid 1990s. They did a nice job rebuilding it & have some nice shows with good performers. They still film movies here so you may get to see one in progress. They did a recreation of The Quick & the Dead while we were there & the actors were very good. There is a train ride & stage coach ride also. There is info on many of the films made here over they years & some will surprise you. They were filming Hart to Hart here in the 1980s & we got to see Robert Wagner & Stephanie Powers up close ( like about 4 feet away) This is one of many things to do in Tucson & one of the best. Also show your card if you are a AAA member.

Old Tucson Studios is a fun place to visit especially if you grew up with Western Movies. Lots were filmed there including some TV series westerns. Especially enjoyed the gunfights. Since my visit I have seen a couple of old westerns on TV and saw some familiar places. Now that's cool.
Plan to spend at least an afternoon as there is a lot to see and do. Admission is reasonable for the entertainment value and you don't have to pay "extra" for any of the live entertainment.Just show up at that start time.
All in all a fun afternoon.
