At the eastern most point in the U.S., this lighthouse is well maintained and well situated on Maine's coast. In a picturesque setting, this well maintained and easy to walk to. If you have a chance, be sure to visit this site.

Aternoon visits give you a good angle with the sun lower in the sky.

It was rainy & windy when we drove out here. The views were great from the lighthouse. There is a concrete marker to indicate that this location is the most north eastern point of the U.S. There is a small gift shop/museum at the lighthouse. We didn't do the trails since it was muddy. Overall I'm glad we were able to make this trip. It was worthwhile.

Love lighthouses and this one is one of the best in Maine. Beautiful view and easy to get to. They even have some picnic tables set up so if you are there around lunchtime pick up a lobster roll from Uncle Kippy's and sit by the ocean :)
