This memorial is touching and is in a great spot. It's at the end of the main street in Lubec, on the water. While we were there, seals were swimming in the harbor. It's a nice place to sit and enjoy the scenery.

It's right at the end of Main street in Lubec across from Cohill's Pub
beautiful sculpture with the names of the fishermen lost at sea. Way too many for such
a small town. Nice area to sit and contemplate those men as you watch the fishing & lobster boat in the harbor.
You can watch the harbor seals as they catch their meals at the changing of the tide.

Beautiful setting for a lost fisherman’s memorial. Nicely done stone memorial with the names of those lost at sea. As the tide changes in the background you can understand the risks in these tidal waters. I wish there were a few benches to sit on while I reflected.

Overlooking the water and across from Campabello Island, this small monument sets just the right tone.
