“Easy trails with nice views, great place for a picnic”
Reviewed July 24, 2013 via mobile

The trails near the picnic area have a wooden staircase that takes you down to the surf where you can view the magnificent crashing waves. They day we went was foggy so the view of Grand Manan as blocked. The sounds and sents were refreshing as we picnicked after viewing the lighthouse. As with all State Parks we have visited in Maine they only have latreens. There is an admission to the park that is on the honor system.

“Hiking along Maines beautiful coastline”
Reviewed July 17, 2013

This is a 'Don't miss' outing for your Downeast vacation. Not just for the famous red and white striped lighthouse, but the scenic and casual walks along the coastline. I am not an avid hiker, but the trails were short, well maintained and several could be done in just a short hour, with a good pair of sneakers. The reward? Remarkable views of the rocky coast, and islands in the bay.

“Great hiking & spectacular views!”
Reviewed July 9, 2013

Great photo opportunities of Quoddy Head Lighthouse and the ocean. Hiking ranges from easy to moderate & slightly strenuous trails. One trail leads up to a sculpture on a cliff. Definitely doing this hike again. Nice outlooks to take in the scenery.

“Great spot for hiking- Enjoy”
Reviewed July 8, 2013

The hiking trail along the coast guard trail is absolutely breathtaking. There are cliffs, beaches, and fantastic ocean views. Its quite hilly after the wooden stand but worth the hike :), not an easy hike; but very doable take your time and enjoy the views. This is a great hike for picture takers, and pack plenty of water and snacks-- at the end you are rewarded with a stunning view of the ocean and the lighthouse --
