We love the food here, great location and good price, not overly expensive. It's not super casual, or super upscale, a nice in between. The waiter who has worked there for years had an attitude but we overlooked that given our penchant for liking this place. We will definitely go back again.

In town for Brown graduation Z Bar came recommended for great food w/ outside dining.
I 've got to say they nailed it last night spot on as they say. Swordfish was delicious maybe the best piece I've had . Can't do it at home that way so I was inspired to tell everyone.

One of the best brunches I've had anywhere. Great vegetarian options, nice salads, nice fenced in private patio when the weather is good. Not at all precocious -- comfortable, aims to please.

This typical average trying to be trendy restaurant/bar is tucked away on the main road of Wickenden St in Providence near Brown University. The street is lined with many restaurants. You would never notice this place on the corner seeing as it looks like just a regular bar. What it amounts to is a smaller trying to be upscale, trendy spot with an interior that the bar is the focal point and the tables are scattered all over like a maze. The staff is a bunch of snobby attractive college kids, that think they deserve to be working in NYC but really when it comes down to it are still working in downtown Providence. The menu has many selections that make an effort to look unique and creative, but in the long run it is just average food that is way overpriced and just all around bad. I would say the place is not bad to grab a drink if you can put up with the better than you, doing you a favor attitude of the bartenders. The hostess looks like he is still in high school and I came out of this place thinking I was just ripped off. Why don't you look more downtown Providence if you are going to spend this kind of money since you can find a larger place with friendlier staff and better food!
