Went on a busy Saturday night, and were fortunate to quickly get table for 4. Eclectic atmosphere, but fun, younger casual crowd but a good mix. Beer and wine list top notch, lots of craft brews on tap and an extensive bottle beer and decent wine selection- menu was limited, but varied and maybe not as french as older reviews note with lots of emphasis on fresh local- all dishes came with seasonal veggies and not just basic by any means- lentils, fried grits, truffle fries, Brussels sprouts-
fish was top notch (grilled corvina or salmon) and short rib special was great.
good service, though busy- very nice and accommodating- more than reasonable prices too- will be back.

I've been there before, LOVE the food and atmosphere! I also frequent the other restaurants in the family (Ama's and Lilli Marlene's) always stellar!! Except for tonight! Such a disapointment :( food and service was still great but watch out for the bartender with the cheep polka-dot dress and huge attitude!!! So my girlfriends and I were out on a casual "catch-up" night that started at Ama's and ended prematurely at Loie's. SORRY we were cute and giggly! Apparently we disturbed "date night" on a Sunday evening during restaurant week????? GASP! Out money is better spent elsewhere.

Fantastic bar and restaurant. Food is quite nice and much cheaper than it would be in SF, NYC or Boston.....that's for sure. Worth the trip!

You've got to eat here. This restaurant has a beautifully decorated Art Nouveau style dining room and a fantastic menu. In keeping with the west side vibe, this place is comfortable and low-key, yet still slightly sophisticated without being pretentious. The menu is not extensive, but they do offer the usual options (various stakes, chicken/duck, seafood, and vegetarian options) as well as fantastic desserts (you have to try their beignets). This is a wonderful location for a small celebration, second date, casual night out, or mid-week treat. Highly recommended.
