My husband and I stumbled upon this place while we were hanging out in Providence, and were drawn in by the newspaper clippings about the Food Network's Guy Fieri stopping in to film his show Diners Drive-ins and Dives. We figured if it lured Guy there, it must be pretty good. The food was really good, but it took more than 30 minutes for my husband to get his order, and that was only after the waitress noticed that I hadn't touched my plate because I was waiting for him to get his food. It was 2:30 in the afternoon on a summer weekday in a college town. The place was not busy AT ALL. We watched the owners chat it up with regulars as we waited. We were pretty disappointed with the service. Overall, they were very friendly and nice, you can't find cheaper food anywjhere, and the food was pretty good...That said, we would recommend it to a friend, as long as that friend is one of those who has no problem with flagging the waitress down when the food doesn't arrive.
