“Great place to see a show!”

This beautifully restored theater is a great place to see a show! Not a bad seat in the house, although we prefer the mezzanine. A lot of great shows come through here and its much more manageable than going to Boston or New York. The only trouble is finding parking so we usually have to bite the bullet and pay $10-15 to park in a garage. This is not limited to PPAC as we have had bad luck finding free parking anywhere in downtown Providence.

I am originally from Providence and have moved from R.I. over 30 yrs ago. I brought my wife to PPAC the see "MEMPHIS" For myself I was shocked to see all the changes in the city. The PPAC has had a major facelift, but it holds it authentic look inside. I remember when it was a movie Theater. It truly holds its classy look inside. Staff are friendly and very helpful. SEATS ARE VERY CLOSE AND TIGHT!!!!!! (No more needs to be said.)There have been some up grades to meet ADA which is alway a plus. Even if your on the top floor you will be provided with an elevator. If you are some one who has disabilities when you book your ticket let them know and if needed seats to accommodate you will be granted. You will also be close to the exit areas. Im not sure if it was a bad night but the sound was a little off for some of the characters. on a side note there is PLENTY of parking across the street and with in walking distance. Parking on the street is risky because of ticketing and towing. Pay the $10.00 to park in a lot thats what we did! Over all it was a great night. Only reason I wouldn't return will be due the seats. I have long legs.

We went a couple of summers ago to see WICKED. We had front row seats and loved the beauty and the acoustics of the place. Our seats were nice, the ushers were friendly, the drinks strong at the concession stand at it was cheaper to park than in Boston
