“Prefer the Original”
Reviewed March 24, 2013 via mobile

We have been going tomtheir original, smaller place on Atwells Ave. the food seems better, not as chain-food tasting. The drinks here are ok. Lots of sour mix in their margaritas. Service was friendly, but tookmway to long to get first round of drinks.

“Superb Margaritas”
Reviewed March 23, 2013

Tried this place on a Wednesday night. The bar tender, Reggie, was great. He made the best non-frozen margarita that we have every had and made us feel very welcome. We ordered steak fajitas, which were quite flavorful with good portions. We really enjoyed the colorful atmosphere and music as well. We will definitely be back for more.

“Just OK”
Reviewed January 27, 2013

When we went here, it was somewhat newly opened. The service was pretty poor, but I think they were working out some kinks. It is a bit on the pricey side for what you get, and the food is pretty average. I much prefer to go to El Rancho Grande or Cilantro for really fresh, delicious, cheaper food.

“Straight up Mexican Fare”
Reviewed October 6, 2012 via mobile

On the run, I ducked in and got quick service, a trad menu, and a generous serving of fajitas and toppings. Only gripe: no chips and salsa, but the tasty entree arrived so quickly I hardly noticed!

“Awful food/drink/service.”
Reviewed October 5, 2012

Was so excited to try this place! We walked a long way just to try it and what a disappointment! We ordered the Cactus Margarita bowl... Having warned the bartender that we hate a lot of "mix" taste in margaritas. The bartender assured us they "make it the way we like it". My boyfriend (a professional restaurant manager for several yrs) and I have NEVER before complained about food/drink/ service. But something had to be done. After complaining about the TERRIBLE drink he did not offer to make another or to make a different drink. Unfortunately, we also ordered chips and salsa. The chips were cold and definitely reserved from that morning. They were gross.
The bartender was also training a new employee and was unprofessional and definitely setting a bad example in more ways than one.

Needless to say, we will not be returning. Don't waste your time.
