My travel agent found this place when I gave her parameters for wanting to be near downtown (capital area) and within the federal room rate allowance. I did not have a car so I decided it was a reasonable enough walking distance to my meeting location. There are NO services/restaurants convenient to the place. I ended up walking a couple of miles to get dinner. It was not too far for me, but definitely not convenient.
Check in was very strange because I came after hours. Had to buzz through to a remote employee who operated the door and the security guy helped me out. It's a lot easier if you show up during their operating hours. I came in at midnight and I was tired and the process worked but wasn't as easy as a normal hotel.
There are good amenities for extended stays, but the rooms don't have irons and ironing boards in them. You have to get that from the staff. Not possible if you need it during off hours.
Overall, I would stay here again, but I would get a rental car.More
