Owner description: Sip a strong espresso at an outdoor cafe, grab a quick pizza for lunch or dine in style at a gourmet Italian restaurant in this historic section of the city, also know as Little Italy. You'll know you have arrived by the huge arched gateway, with a bronzed pinecone, which marks the entry to the neighborhood.

Basically it is a few streets with Italian restaurants. Many cities have them and I would say many cities have nicer italian neighborhoods....no need to travel to Providence to experience.

Great restaurants with patio dining , homemade dishes, and more. We enjoyed great gelato as well as Italian aked goods and shopped at the Italian markets A courtyard midway near the water featured patio restaurants and live music.

Tons of places to eat! Spent time at the great fountain in DePasquale Square. Stop by Tony's Colonial Food Store if you want something quick and inexpensive but yummy to eat!

I love so many things about the hill. Venda Ravaoli is something to be seen plus the dining options are incredible. It's so hard to choose which one .
If you've never been to the yearly Federal Hill stroll held each June...you don't know what you're missing.
