Great place to spend a nice day outside enjoying New England. This is such a great zoo, they are constantly making additions to the park and changing attractions so it is a little different each time you go.

The new Hasbro Big Backyard is great for the young ones. Lots of interactive play. I saw that they will have a petting zoo this spring which will be amazing!

This review is very belated as we visited in August 2013. It is one of the best zoos I've visited, it is very easy to walk around as it is on the flat. The animals are very well looked after and the zoo is very clean. We saw the elephants' bath time, and fed the giraffes. That was an amazing experience and the keepers were so kind and friendly. The entrance fee and giraffe feeding fee was very reasonable. We spent a wonderful day there and I'd love to visit again.

I go there all the time. It is one of my favorite places. There is so much to do. The carousel, the paddle boats, the zoo, the botanical gardens, the art and architecture, the history. Amazing! and if your looking for that quiet spot there are plenty. A must visit.
