Stayed a single night in October to visit Rocky Mountain National Park before I had to be at a business meeting in Denver the next day. Really nice hotel for a cheap chain (my rate was $65/night with breakfast). I wish the Comfort Inns on the east coast were this nice! Very clean, really comfy beds, plenty of room, nice bathroom. Breakfast was typical sparse comfort inn - bagels, waffle maker, apples, cereal, and not much else; coffee was better than average tho, so I was happy. On the outskirts of Estes Park (which is a fairly cute little town), but right across the street from a shopping center with fast food, restaurants, and a supermarket with a Starbucks. Location was superb - a short 2-3 mile drive to the NP along an extremely scenic drive. Would definitely stay again, but I like cheap comfortable hotels close to my destination. Not really a lot of character, but the RM park more than makes up for that!

This was our first stay at a Comfort Inn and we were pleased with the accomodations. Their fall season rates started in October, so we paid just $77 (tax included) for a second floor room with two queen beds. This time, the Comfort Inn was cheaper than the Travelodge! The room was very quiet (didn't hear a peep from our neighbors), and the issue I presented to the front desk was remedied immediately.

My son and I stayed here 3 nights and had a great time. This was the first time I stayed at a Comfort Inn, and didn't know what to expect. It was clean, quite, and a friendly staff. We especially liked that the continental breakfast was open early, so we could get an early start hiking in RMNP. Also, the breakfast was great with make-your-own waffles and hardboil eggs, in addition to the usual stuff you see at a complimentary breakfast.

This was our last stop in Colorado and the best! We booked a 2 floor room for the internet price of $229 a night. The upstairs room had 2 beds, a bathroom, tv, and balcony. From our balcony, we could see a picnic area, mountains in every direction and a very limited view of Lake Estes. The downstairs room had a king size bed, tv, bathroom w/ bathtub, fireplace, small refrigerator, microwave, and balcony facing the pool/hot tub area. The kids absolutely loved the outdoor heated pool. The hot tub was in an enclosed area right next to the pool. (I could sit in the room and still be able to see the kids in the pool.) The staff was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was good and plentiful. There are a couple of restaurants that are close, but there is a free shuttle (in the summer) that can take you into town. (You have to walk a couple of buildings down to catch the shuttle.) The marina is close with bicycle and kayak/canoe rentals. There is a track around the lake that is fairly easy to get to. I walked at sunrise and saw a herd of elk across the lake making some very interesting sounds. We walked around at sunset and saw elk on the golf course with many ducks! I would not hesitate to stay here again!

We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite for one night. It was perfect for our family of 5. The outside is nothing special. It looks like many older motels. But, I found the inside of our room to be excellent. The beds were very comfortable and the two bathrooms were nice. The breakfast was just so-so, but wasn't too bad. The room was fairly expensive, but was cheaper than getting two rooms (which is what we usually do). Overall, I'd recommend the Comfort Inn in Estes Park.
