“A weekend at Romantic Riversong”
Reviewed October 31, 2012

We stayed at Romantic Riversong three years before this trip. We never return to the same place, but this year we wanted to once again enjoy the views, the food, the privacy and the wildlife. It was wonderful.

Room Tip: If you really want privacy, choose one of the separate cottages.

From Check-in to Check-Out, our stay was absolutely wonderful! Breakfasts were, indeed, homemade, delicious, and plenty. If one needed special meal requirements, it was a pleasure to meet your needs. Mary makes sure you are tucked into your room and your needs met with a gentle hand and always a smile. Cozy fireplaces, warm beds, breathtaking views, and wildlife roaming the property were amazing. Hot tea, hot chocolate, hot coffee and homemade cookies for the taking all day and evening. Mary is a marvelous cook. The renovations done to the home were beautiful all the while keeping the Inn delightfully intimate. Our stay includes 4 nights and we chose to have our last evening meal at the Inn. Carol showered us with her endearing sweetness and outstanding cuisine. She served us a 5 course meal that was to die for. Very relaxing, intimate, and good company with a couple also staying at the Inn. We also met the owner, Gary. He was more than polite and easy to talk with. The grounds are wonderfully kept, trails were easy to navigate, and the picnic lunch was so beautiful by the stream. We will go back! Kathy & Rex - One thing, be strategic when bathing with a full house. Hot water tends to be a little low with all of the big tubs and showers. :)

Room Tip: Our room was the "Mountain Rose". Cozy bedroom on 2nd floor of main house with double side...

A visit to Riversong was a gift to my wife for her birthday. We were greeted on arrival by a bull elk in the front yard. The Elk spend the day on site. Our room was exquisite...a three-room suite with huge windows overlooking the high peaks. An in-room, 2-person hot tub and a fireplace made for a very romantic setting, and the giant 2-person shower was a bonus.
Food was fantastic. Breakfast was totally unique, and the coffee was as good as it gets.
The setting is indescribable...on the banks of the Big Thompson with fantastic views and a hike up a private mountain.
Above all, the hospitality was outstanding. Mary is the best and made us feel like family.
Thanks for a great experience!

Room Tip: The higher cost rooms are worth the investment.

Our stay at Romantic River Song, for three nights, was a perfect way to celebrate our love. We stayed in a bungalow, Pasqueflower , which was private and very charming! The heart and soul
of he complex are Cindy and Blanca, the hosts with the most!!! hey provide daily gourmet breakfasts and were willing to provide us with gluten free recipes. They baked delicious cookies, and provided tea and coffee all day. The property has been painstakingly kept by the owner, Gary.
He was also very welcoming. There are many places to hike, see a creek, several elk, deer, turkeys, rabbits, etc. Quite amazing to see so much wildlife so close! Loved it! Jim and Gloria

Room Tip: Variety of rooms, but we chose Pasqueflower Flower for more privacy, a short distance from the main...

A lovely Inn with fantastic views of the continental divide. Loved seeing the Elk in the backyard.
Breakfast was wonderful and we met a lovely couple that we had dinner with later that evening. Didn't use swimming pool or fitness center. Wish that we had been there while the weather had been nicer. A little chilly for our Florida blood.

Room Tip: Loved the Forget me Not room.

My husband and I spent 2 nights in the Chiming Bells. Cynthia was very helpful and truly cares about her job. The breakfasts were very good and everyone we meet were very friendly. It is a very nice place to spend some quality time with your spouse. I would recommend this place to anyone wants some relaxing time together away from the "real world"

My husband & I stayed at Riversong for two days for our first wedding anniversary, and it was absolutely wonderful. Riversong is beautiful & secluded yet still close enough to everything else in Estes. It was very cozy & the staff treated us amazing. Cynthia was our host while we were there & she was so sweet-made us feel so welcome :) And the homemade breakfast was soooo good! It was definitely a splurge for us but worth it. It was so relaxing & nice to spend some time alone together out in nature with no distractions. We stayed in the Shooting Star room & loved it- the hot tub with the skylight was a definite plus :) we would highly recommend Riversong to anyone looking for a great romantic getaway & hope to be back ourselves really soon.
