“Fun and Entertaining!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 23, 2014

We took an afternoon tour on a sunny day and had a great time!
There is a lot of walking on the 90 minute tour but very enjoyable and easy to do. The afternoon tour gave us the history of Stanley Hotel with "ghost" stories associated with the hotel. First part of the tour began with a short video presentation about the hauntings of the Stanley then our tour guide, Sophie, took us on the tour including the 4th floor of the Stanley Hotel. Sophie was energetic, knew her stuff, informative and made the tour and presentation interesting. She really had her group captivated.
Without a good tour guide, the tour could be a little boring. If you happen to get Sophie, you will not be disappointed. If you are taking the tour, you do not have to pay the $5.00 parking fee.
The cost of the tour was a little pricey but we did receive a AAA
discount. It was fun and you will have a good time. Can't comment on the night ghost tour but the afternoon had a good history presentation and good ghost stories!

“Room 217”

We were there just last week and no one charged us anything to park, so I am confused by the reviews stating it cost $5. We paid nothing. We took the tour which with our AAA discount was $17 per person. It would have been nice to take it in the evening (spookier??) but all those were booked up so we took a day tour, which was really fun. Walter was very informative and all in our party enjoyed the tour. My husband sat on the big front porch in a wicker chair with a wonderful view of Estes Park. It was raining a little and a little chilly too but being from Chandler, AZ (100 + daily in the summer) it was like heaven to be wearing a light jacket and to get drizzled on a bit. All in all a very special part of our trip to Estes Park.

“Ghost Tour”

We had an awesome time on the 8:30pm Ghost Tour with our guide, Cody! His hotel history along with his paranormal knowledge made the tour a true adventure. The icing on the cake was Lucy the ghost who closed a door on our group 3 times!!! This is an adventure not to miss!

“Great tour!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 19, 2014 via mobile

When my family and I went to the Stanley hotel this past July it was great. We took the tour, and the tour was 2 hours long. We used a AAA discount so we defiantly got our money's worth. The tour was very factual and had some ghost stories. We did not sleep in the hotel because there were no rooms available. But overall it was a great time!!
