Just spent 4 nights @ Timber Creek with friends. We had a great stay in Chalet #3. The two bedroom chalet had been recently updated. There were two double beds- very comfortable. The place was super comfortable and we had various wildlife walk right up- an eld, a coyote and a squirrel on the patio. I liked that the place was outside of town- right between RMNP and downtown Estes. Very easy to get around. It was nice being able to cook as well but Safeway is expensive- get a club card @ customer service when you first get there to cut down the cost. You can also save some money on gas if you spend enough. Highly recommended!

We stayed at Mountain Laurel with my kids. Loved this place. The beds are comfy, the kitchen was well stocked, the bedding was soft and the towels were large and plentiful. The staff was very helpful. It snowed while we were there and the staff was out shoveling snow from the hot tub first thing in the morning. This was a very comfortable place to stay. The only possible negative is that the wood provided did not burn very well, causing the fireplace to smoke a lot. But, it may well have been operator error, lol. I would certainly recommend staying here.

My wife and I stayed at Timber Creek Chalet May 15-19. We were on our honeymoon and the Chalets was an excellent place to stay. It was very peaceful and the scenery is truly beautiful. The room we stayed in was very clean and the king size bed was nice and comfy. We are looking forward to coming back next year for sure. It even snowed on our last full day there. If you are looking for a peaceful get away to enjoy the great outdoors I would highly recommend staying here. It's only a mile or 2 from downtown estes and the stanely hotel. Truly a wonderful trip and place to stay. :)

I reserved the Glacial Lily unit after reading reviews on Trip Advisor and was not disappointed to say the least. The unit itself was impeccable. The minute I opened the door I actually stood there staring for a moment. Cozy, cozy, cozy! The decor made us feel as if we were in our own secluded cabin. The king size bed was very comfortable. We rented at the end of the winter season (and got 3 nts for the price of 2!) so the main office was not open yet and we had to drive down the road about 1/2 mile to pick up the keys but it did not feel like an inconvenience once we arrived at Fawn Valley. The manager on duty was very friendly and accommodating. We had a welcome goody bag in the room which was a nice touch too! Also, it was the perfect location, smack dab between Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park.

we rented the Mountain Laurel cabin from Timber Creek Chalets. We thought the price was reasonable and the staff was very helpful.. We had a large rocky hillside behind the cabin that we explored and we regularly saw a herd of Bighorn Sheep that have a trail behind the cabin. the hot tub was nice and clean.. TCC has a large selection of dvd's to use and also snow shoes. Rocky mtn national park is beautiful and we went snow sledding (can rent a sled downtown at Hiking Store or Outdoor World for $5) and hiking. Estes Park is a nice town and we definately hope to return and stay in the same cabin.
