This was our third stay at the dripping springs. Every time it is better than the last. John was very welcoming and helpful. The property is beautiful with a nice little walk along the river and plenty of places to sit back and relax. Our room, the canopy room, was perfect. It was comfortable and cozy. The hot tub on the back deck was very relaxing, too. I love laying in the bed with the door open for a nice cool breeze and listening to the river at night. This place is perfect for a place to stay in and relax by the river and the fire at night, or as a place to come back to after exploring Estes park. Then, of course, waking up to fresh coffee and a wonderful home-cooked breakfast tops off any good night! Thank you for a great weekend!

You feel like your part of the family. Everyone comes around the table to eat breakfast and it felt like a family coming together around a holiday dinner table. Service was great, with the atmosphere being a notch above that. Will be staying there again.

This is a wonderful B&B to relax on site; next to a river. Welcoming guests to LGBT, straight, whatever religion, Very accomodating to all requests. Private hottubs on many of the cabin decks. The breakfast are made from scrach and excellent! I'll only be staying here anytime I visit Estes Park, CO.

We stayed here for 4 nights before our small wedding in Estes. The Pinewood seems to have more room around it than other cabins. Fire pit, riverside, clean hot tub, cute deck, privacy (nobody to the left, Enchanto to the right). We loved it. It was simple and low key enough that we felt at home. The owners left us alone but were very friendly and helpful when we needed it. Off the main road enough to feel secluded (little road noise was drowned out by river) but close enough to a Safeway for firewood, grilling food, beer, etc. The layout of the resort was much more cramped than I pictured it but it works. Each cabin has the river as its backyard so its easy to forget that others are around. The Enchanto (sp?) Was right next to the Pinewood but nobody stayed there. It was much more updated (shower) and would be good for a family or 2 couples that know each other well. The owner told us to poke around and check it out so we did. :)
My only complaints are minor: The shower is stand up and although clean, there could have been slight upgrades on the curtain, shower rings, etc. Just minor changes that would make it feel a little more clean. Also the grounds didnt seem to be kept up with as well as I would have thought they would. A little weeding or mowing would go a long way. I wish I could buy it (its for sale!) so I could tweak it a little. :) Overall: we would definitely stay here again! Can't beat Estes!

We had a great stay at Dripping Springs. We had the Willow cottage which was small but very quaint and cozy. I would choose it again. Small touches like towels that were regular sized and soft and smelled of fabric softener; John fixing out porch lights quickly; a string of lights entwined in branches over the bed and a pleasant greeting when we'd see the owners on property made the stay very enjoyable.

The property is just outside of Estes with a quick highway commute in to town. That gave you the feeling of being secluded without being too far removed. Even though it's along the highway the river drowns out the highway noise and every cabin/cottage has direct river access.

Room Tip: The Willow was small but had a great feel. The Pinewood is much larger and open and has a great log...

This was an unusual property. So if you like a bit quirky this is for you. Janey made you feel very welcome and John was very helpful. The room we were in canopy river cottage room. It was lovely and romantic just like the pictures. The private hot tub after a days sight seeing was great and welcomimg. Breakfast was hearty and set you up for the day. Sitting round the breakfast table was different for us but was nice chatting to fellow travelers. The grounds are lovely for relaxing in although we did not find the time to enjoy enough. Would stay agin and hope any new owner does not change it to much. Overall loved it.

This is the place to go if your looking for a romantic get away with your husband/wife. We stayed it the Canopy cottage, it was gorgeous. The rooms are a decent size and the hot tub on the deck it very relaxing next to the river. The Breakfast that is included in the morning is worth waking up to. Jaine makes a delicious 6-7 course breakfast. And if your looking to go out and about its only 3 miles from downtown Estes park. And if your having trouble deciding what to do for the day, just hanging out in the hammocks on the property is fantastic. And there is a grill on site if you want to cook a dinner at the cabins, and a fridge if you want to keep any adult beverages cool. Dripping Springs is well worth the money for a great get away for two. And husbands your wife will love you if you take her here for your Anniversary....
