Our cabin (1890-9) was a wonderful place to stay while visiting RMNP. Supplied with everything you could need (right down to laundry soap for the washer). This cabin was very clean and beautifully decorated with bear, elk, moose motif. Nights were very quiet in this area near Estes Lake. Easy 10 minute drive to Park entrance. If you want to spend vacation in a place that's well cared for and has office staff with good customer service skills, don't hesitate, stay here!

We loved our stay at Solitude Cabins and have told family and friends who may be visiting Estes Park. Gorgeous home and loved to sit on the deck in the evening. Took photos of deer in our yard and loved the peace and quiet but was still close to Estes Park. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Hope to stay again in the future!

We wanted a nice little cabin with a view - What we got was an AMAZING house to stay in!!
Me, My husband - or 15 year old ( who had the entire upstairs to his self - huge bedroom/ TV and full bathroom while my husband an I took the perfect bedroom downstairs, which had a full closet+ big vanity area+ bathroom w/ jet-tub and separate vanity area. Our 5 yr old found the " kids bed" in the living room area " PERFECT" for him - it's a bed hidden inside the wall that looks like a huge cabinet but pulls down into a regular ( not twin) bed.
Living room is gorgeous - fireplace, and the real home touch with the decorations, etc
This cabin....1890-1 - has an incredible view of the mountains - and is a minute away from downtown Estes Park - which we found wonderfully convent. FREE Wi-fi from your cabin!
This was our FIRST time in Estes Park, and we all agreed this was the MOST PERFECT place to stay!!! It is privately owned - but managed from a rental company that does an ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING job of maintaining and taking care of anything we need. There are several units still for sale, and we are considering purchasing one! STAY HERE - YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!

We rented four cabins for three days over the 4th of July weekend. We could not have been happier with the accomodations. The cabins are just far enough away to give you peace and quiet while still being very convenient to everything Estes Park has to offer. The cabins were spotless and stocked with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The fully stocked kitchens allowed us to have family meals together. And the staff could not have been nicer or more accomodating. We would definitely stay there again!

Having stayed in lodges and motels throughout the West, I rate this location at or near the top. In addition to having great cabins, Solitude offers a great view of snow capped mountains and Longs Peak in particular. Solitude cabins are also conveniently located to Estes Park and Rocky Mt. Natl. Park. While away from the hubub of Estes Park, it is just a short drive away from some good restaurants and shops in the downtown. The cabin we stayed in was very attractive, clean and nicely furnished.

This is a well run establishment. The cabin is spotless. Not even dust on the blinds. Nice cabins with great amenities. It is located away from Estes Park, but is within 5 minutes of it - very convenient.

Price is very reasonable.

Location is near a high school, but it is not really a bother. A game took place today, but it was still very quiet, even on my desk area.

Nice view towards the mountains.

We stayed in cabin 1875-5 for 3 nights with our 2 daughters. It was great. We will definitely request this cabin again. There was an incredible view from the kitchen table and the deck of Longs Peak. To the right of the deck was a huge tree which provided privacy and great rocks for my daughters to climb on. The cabin has a very warm, homey feel, the well appointed furniture and the decor feels brand new and well cared for. We were very impressed by the amount of space and that it is a stand alone private home rather than a condo. My daughters chose to sleep on the sofa bed downstairs but enjoyed the private space to play upstairs in the huge master bedroom. The owner provides games, puzzles, videos and books. We took advantage of the local travel books of hikes in the area as well other books about the local animals, birds and flowers. We went to the small private hot tub 2 evenings and it is only a 30 second walk from the cabin we stayed in. Having a washing machine and full kitchen was also very useful especially when traveling as a family. We used the dvd library at the main desk and they had a great selection of family videos. In addition to all this we had several deer and blue jays right out our window. We couldn't have asked for anything more it was the best cabin we have ever stayed in.

Sounds like you had some wonderful family time. Nothing can compare to spending time with family, especially when your cabin adds to the fun. The owners of the cabins have done a great job of supplying guests with all types of fun and information. Thank you also for pointing out that our cabins are freestanding homes as opposed to being a condo. It is one of the features that sets us apart from many others. We look forward to seeing you and your family again.
