Stayed here for four nights, and honestly could not find a single thing to complain about. The staff was very accommodating, rooms were clean, and decorated nicely. We had a one bedroom unit overlooking the pond, wildlife was abundant, great mountain views, and best of all, very relaxing. We have been to Estes Park at least half a dozen times, and this by far was the most enjoyable! Already planning our next visit, hopefully in the fall. Awesome experience!!

We were married at Black Canyonn Inn in March and almost all of our guests stayed there. The accommodations were great for our large groups of friends and family and they were able to share affordable lodging. The property is beautiful and the backdrop of the Pavillion for ceremonies is breathtaking. We got a great response from all of our guests that they loved the wedding and the lodging! Great place for a wedding in Estes!

My husband and I planned our wedding at Black Canyon Inn based on online reviews. When we arrived we were pleased to find it even more amazing than we expected. We stayed the few days leading up to the wedding and our wedding night.

Our room was very nice, clean, and comfortable. The view was just gorgeous, as were the grounds. I only wish we had had more time to spend in the room, but we had 30 family and friends to entertain the days leading up to the wedding, so we spent much of our time off the property.

The only problem we had with the room was the night before the wedding. We wanted to relax in a hot bath but when we turned on the water, the hot water wouldn't turn off! It was just pouring out. Normally I would have shut off the water and not worried about it till morning (it was after 11 pm), but the next morning was our wedding day, and I absolutely could not be without (hot) water. We called and emergency number and someone came right away to address the problem. We did not end up getting our bath, but we were very pleased with how responsive they were.

The wedding day was beautiful. We couldn't have asked for a better setting or better service from the staff. Absolutely everything was perfect. We originally planned to have the wedding at the pond, however when we arrived we immediately changed to the pavilion. The pond is gorgeous, and perhaps had we had a smaller group we would have stayed at that location, but after seeing it we felt it might be difficult on some of our guests to get to the pond and we knew it would be crowded. They allowed us to move the ceremony to the pavilion without any problems. One thing to consider if you are planning your wedding there - you can't see it in any of the pictures, but the road is just on the other side of the trees at the pond, so when cars drive by you will see/hear them. This was another reason we moved to the pavilion.

After the ceremony we took pictures at the pavilion and all across the grounds (we had gone into RMNP prior to the ceremony for more pictures). Aaron Cathcart was our photographer and he was phenomenal. I very highly recommend him. We got so many wonderful pictures we have about a dozen favorites. We also got a shot at the pavilion with everyone who attended. It is awesome to have had a place that worked so well for our group picture.

We then went to Twin Owls for our reception. Beautiful restaurant, friendly staff, and good food. I wouldn't say the food was great (I was expecting more), but considering we had a large group they did an excellent job. The one thing that was amazing - the scallops. Get them. You won't regret it!

Overall we couldn't be happier with our stay at Black Canyon and our wedding day. We will definitely return.

My son was recently married at the pavilion at Black Canyon Inn. Absolutely beautiful backdrop! The events planner, Laura, was excellent. We used one of the photographers frequently used at this location. Can't wait for the pictures! Wedding went off without a hitch. Would definitely recommend this facility for a wedding, couples retreat or family vacation.

Room Tip: If you are planning a wedding here, be sure to ask for the condos closest to the pavilion.

The Black Canyon Inn is such an awesome place to go and relax! Never before have I enjoyed the luxuries that Black Canyon inn has to offer. Our condo was very clean and organized with a beautiful view! I love the location being so close to the Stanley Hotel. It is seriously a beautiful location and a good place to take a break from the world. I didn't get the chance to eat at the steakhouse but I hear it is great. The management is awesome and so are all the employees!
I wish I was there today!!

We are enjoying our 4 night stay at the Black Canyon Inn. The condo has a balcony with a beautiful mountain & pond view. The unit is clean and well furnished with adequate kitchenware. The firm mattress is comfortable for hubby's bad back. The staff is friendly & helpful. We are very pleased & plan to come back again sometime.

We have traveled to Estes Park several times and this past trip was one of our favorites. We traveled with our children and wanted to have a little extra room to spread out. We rented unit F7. F7 is a 730 square foot one-bedroom condo located within the Black Canyon Inn in Estes Park, Colorado. The kitchen had everything one could need for cooking, the living room was comfortable, and the the master bath offers a two-person jetted tub, glass-inclosed stand up shower. Within the bathroom there is also a washer and dryer. We did not use the pull out sofa, but instead requested a rollaway which worked out perfect. Another added bonus, the owners of this unit have it stocked with fantastic board games. A highlight of the trip after a full day of hiking.

Our balcony offered unobstructed views of Rocky Mountain National Parks, Lumpy Ridge and the Twin Owls rock formation. Our view also looked out over a gorgeous farm where the cattle roamed all throughout the day.I would suggest if you are looking for a quieter unit that this is the way to go.

We added an extra night to our stay and had to move to Unit C6 for our last night. This unit overlooks the parking lot and Twin Owls Restaurant where there is often a rehearsal or wedding taking place, which equals more noise. There is no AC in the units, so windows open on a hot summer day is a necessity. Also, I felt as if the condition of F7 exceeded the condition of C6, but still provided a pleasant stay.

We did use the pool, small but warm and the kids loved it.

The staff at Black Canyon Inn were wonderful, always answered or help with anything we needed!
We hope to return and possible inquire to see if there is a larger unit overlooking the farm/mountains!

Room Tip: F7 was our favorite!
