“Incrediable Place to Stay”
Reviewed July 27, 2013

I stayed there in July with my two sons, ages 9 & 10. The kids loved the place. The cabins were great. The boys loved the trails, the river, just everything about it. It is close to town and Rocky Mountain National Park. George and his family are wonderful hosts. To top it off the boys got to play in a bouncy house they inflated while we were there. I would highly recommend staying there. We will def be back in the future.

We visited Pine Haven Resort for 4 nights in July...and it was just perfect! My husband and I have a 5 and 8 year old. The kids were overjoyed by the cabin and it's surroundings. The cabin was very clean & comfortable and had everything we needed. Sleeping with the windows open in the cool mountain air was fabulous, especially coming from the Southeastern US where it's hot and humid all summer long. The owners, George & Joan were wonderful. The resort was quiet and peaceful and abundant with wildlife, backing up to Rocky Mountain National Park. We would go out on daily excursions in the area but found that we couldn't wait to get back to Pine Haven where we could just relax on the deck and grill dinner. The kids were most impressed by the party given by our hosts on the last night of our stay. Cotton candy and ice cream sundaes, a bounce house, games, magic, wine tasting (for mom & dad), great music and great company left us wanting to come back for another visit! Great memories were created here and we would highly recommend this resort to anyone coming to Estes Park!

Stayed there in late June of '13. Cabins are clean and comfortable and the grounds are well maintained. The owner has plenty of activities for children and even set up his cotton candy machine. A quick drive to EP or into RMNP. Would stay there if we ever go back.

Room Tip: Try to get the "Lodge" if you have multiple couples

My mother passed away 3/10...she grew up going to Pine Haven as did I...It was THE obvious place to celebrate her on Mothers Day. We stayed in the Lodge with a total of 8 family/friends.
Loved, loved, loved it! Hiked on Mothers Day to the top of the mountain to spread moms ashes. I just love this place. Only beautiful memories.

Room Tip: When you are looking at how many it sleeps...know that some of the sleeping spots are pull outs, etc...

We highly recommend Pine Haven. We stayed here over our spring break in mid March 2013. The owner, George, was most helpful in every way. We were there kind of off season for Estes Park, but he was gracious enough to have everything up and running and the property was beautiful. It is in a great location as we are very outdoorsy and we could hike right off his property and it was close to town.
We have an 8 year old boy and there was plenty for him to play on and enjoy. The cabin itself was so cute and accomodating.
We enjoyed our stay all week long and would definitely stay here again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Pine Haven! We were visiting Rocky Mountain National Park and it was a short drive to the park and a great place to come back to and relax after a long day of hiking. We were able to cook our own meals in the well stocked kitchen or take a short drive to downtown and eat at one of the many great little eateries. There is plenty to do around the property like sitting by the river, playing games, enjoying the commons area with a grill and a hot tub. Each cabin has a different theme and the decor is amazing! They are cute and comfortable and very cozy. The couple who owns it is super nice and very eager to get to know you and make sure you enjoy your stay. We definitely hope to go back sometime. Highly recommend it!
