One of the best places in Estes Park. We stayed in the Love Nest, which is right on the river. The indoor hot tub was one of the main reasons we choose this cabin. Very quaint, perfect for two. It might be a little small for any group larger than two. There was plenty of snow! The fireplace is situated next to the hot tub which makes for a very romantic evening. My wife and I highly recommend Brynwood!

We just had a delightful stay in Brynwood's Love Nest cabin! It was very cozy and well furnished. The staff was helpful and accommodating. We loved the jetted tub where two people could actually sit in it comfortably. It had a waterfall made out of moss rock that added to the ambiance. The kitchen was fully furnished with everything we needed. We loved it and would like to book it for the holidays because they said they decorate it for Christmas! We will definitly be back!

We stayed in the "cubbyhole" in July, 2008. The cabin was okay, but a bit dated. The decor was, at one time, cute; now, it just looks worn. Comforters and sheets had seen many many washings. Cabin itself was in ok condition, but we had passed by many newer looking cabins which I probably would have rather stayed in. Also, there are too many rules. You have to sign a paper saying you will be responsible for any damage to the cover of the hot tub, you you won't use any bubbles in the hottub or apply any lotion to your body before you get in, you will be responsible for any lost keys, and on and on. Here, the emphasis seemed to be on making sure you didn't break anything rather than making sure you enjoyed yourself. I realize now that Estes Park is an expensive tourist trap, and I for the price I paid, I would have rather stayed in a modern, up-to-date cabin or condo.

We are sorry you were disappointed in your stay. Our cabins are being updated all the time with new bedspreads etc. Kitchens and bathrooms are being remodeled every winter. If you want a cozy well maintained cabin in the mountains, we are your place! If you want the Hilton, then you need to look for another place besides Estes Park. We are a medium priced accommodation who gets told all the time that "This is the cleanest place we've ever stayed". Our staff bends over backwards for our guests to make their stay comfortable. The rule part for the hot tubs is just a gentle reminder to be thoughtful and careful when using the hot tub. The very first, brand new hot tub we ever installed was destroyed by the first guest that stayed in there! They put out their cigarettes on the wood leaving burn marks, took a knife to the pool cover and we had to fish broken glass out of the hot tub from their wine bottles! The pool covers themselves are on lifters for the convenience for our guests to make it easy for them to lift off, but some get confused as to how to operate them, so we give them a sheet of directions so they understand how to use the lifter. Our staff is very knowledgeable about hiking in the park and enjoying Estes Park and we try to make you as comfortable as possible.

We stayed at Brynwood on the River last week and absolutely loved it! The service was great, the desk help was knowledgable about the different hikes we could take up in the park. We had a cabin on the river with a private hot tub which was awesome after a day of hiking. We sat in the hot tub as we relaxed looking at the river. The cabin was furnished well with everything that we needed. The location was half way between downtown Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park which was great for us. It just took us a couple of minutes to get to the activities we wanted to get to. We loved the way the cabin was decorated, it felt like a home away from home! We will definitly be back and we will tell our friends!

Solid place - decent cabin that is comfortable if not Fancy. Was fabulous having a private hot tub after long days of hiking. Paid about 225 a nite for 3 beds. Nice but not luxurious. Great private hot tub and nice deck.
