We found that the Rock Inn was planning to have a band playing on a Saturday evening, so we planned to arrive early, eat dinner, and enjoy the band. Our nice plan was a failure.
First off, the band started about an hour late. And, unfortunately, they weren't worth the wait. The music wasn't terrible, but it was boring, and the sound system wasn't very good. We ended up leaving after about four songs.
As for the food and service....the hostess was awful!! We had to wait a good while even to find her, and then were abandoned as soon as she was able to be rid of us. We ended up spending our entire time there (about two hours) sit at a rickety little table in their "tavern" area trying to keep our plates from falling on the floor. And the food was WAY overpriced. It was one of the most expensive menus I'd seen in Estes Park and the food was barely average.
