“Fun and Beautiful”
Reviewed July 17, 2013

This was a beautiful bit of scenery for a reasonable price. If you've only got an hour or so to spare, this is a great way to view the Rockies without a difficult hike.

“Worth it as a time filler”
Reviewed July 16, 2013

This provided a great view and can be a great time-filler if you are looking for something to do in Estes Park. Check the line as it can be difficult to get up and back if there are a lot of people waiting for the trams.

“Great way to kill time!”
Reviewed July 15, 2013

I have been on an aerial tram in the Royal Gorge. THis one didn't disappoint either. Great view. Neat little shop at top that was serving peach cobbler. They also sold peanuts to feed the little ground squirrels. $12 bucks a person was a little pricey, but the family enjoyed it. There are trails at the top- Some involved more climbing etc, others were very level and easy.

“A One Time Trip”
Reviewed July 15, 2013

This experience is for those who don't like to climb mountains in Estes Park. The tram ride was the best part of the experience. Once you get to the top the views are very nice. The restaurant at the top is showing it's age. The gift shop at the top shouldn't be there. There is a gift shop at the bottom that looks much better, and I couldn't figure out why you would buy something up there and then bring it all the way down in a crammed tram. The food they serve at the top is your basics menu (ice cream, pretzels, hot dogs, etc.). Bring a lunch.

Because we go hiking in the national forrest, I was surprised to see all the peanut shells all over the area. I get feeding the squirrels can be fun, but it's beginning to look like a mess with empty peanut shells everywhere. If you haven't bee up there, it's a one and done trip.

Advice, get there early. We got there right when it opened and got a ride to the top by ourselves. As the day goes on, there are lines to get to the top.
