We arrived early and were taken care of right away. We were offered to put our bikes under the awning which was very much appreciated. Also the shuttle was so easy to take down town and then the trolley to shopping area. Thank you so much for your hospitality.

Room Tip: If you have a walking handicap, ask for a room on the ground floor.

I stayed at the Rodeway Inn with my 2 kids as a mini get-away. The staff we encountered were great and the breakfast was fantastic. The room was clean but needs repair from water damage and age. I would stay again as the price was right.

The hotel staff were very friendly. The game room/laundry area was very spacious. 3 washers and 3 dryers at a very reasonable price per load. Yes a bit dated but we were only there to sleep. Breakfast was ok nice big eating area.

I have never stayed in a rodeway inn before, and would not do it again. Should be called the rodehard inn as everything in the hotel seemed to have been worn out sometime in the 90's. There was some sort of goo coming from around the acoustic ceiling tiles. Could have been some sort of glue to hold them in place, but I chose not to investigate it and tried harder not to think about it. Carpet felt slimy on my feet, and the carpet throughout the hotel had holes worn through it. Breakfast was beyond basic pretty much toast and cereal. The room itself looked as if it had been furnished from a garage sale, and I have had sandwiches that were thicker than the mattress. Pillows and bedding were worn out long ago, and both chairs on the patio were broken. On the upside the view was great, and the bathroom may have been clean but so hard to tell as again everything was so badly worn out. Paid $149, and was about the last room left in town. Book early and elsewhere in Estes

Room Tip: King room with a balcony

Only stayed here because everything else was booked up. Room was dated and didn't feel clean. We skipped the free breakfast when we saw the condition of the area. The trash cans were overflowing and food areas need lots of attention.

My husband and I were looking for a bargain and this was it. The room we requested was on the 2nd floor. It had a small balcony with two chairs where we could sit and see a lot of the mountains. No frills...just a simple, clean room. They provided nice shampoo choices. Breakfast was included and started before the advertised time of 7 am. This suited us perfectly as we were anxious to get an early start into Rocky Mtn National Park. We will be staying here again for sure. It sits about a mile from the center of the city and one of the gateways to the park.

Room Tip: When booking, be sure to select the balcony room on the second floor. It you don't like climbin...

We stayed here since most other places are not vacant and this was within the budget. We paid $160 for 2 bedrooms. The lobby looks nice, but the room is quite outdated. Things were rusty and the carpet looks old and dirty. The side entry to the 2nd floor doesn't lock. Anyone without key can get into the building. We went to the pool and hot tub. The hot tub is so old and it had a smell, so we didn't stay long in it.
The stuff there were pretty friendly and their complimentary breakfast was a plus.
