We are in Estes Park quite often and this is our favorite pizza place. We often get one size bigger than we can eat so that we have leftovers.

Well, apparently eating here in the off season just ticks these workers off. We ordered a couple of Italian Subs, the guy behind the counter looked mad when I asked for no lettuce. He was curt, rude, and you could tell did not care if we were there or not. Took our sandwiches to go, very mediocre, just plain with hoagies with some lunch meat a couple unripened tomato slices and some mayo, nothing more nothing less. Lame. :( Wouldn't dream of returning.

We had a Restaurant.com coupon to the place, so we decided to check it out. The reviews said the pizza were good and the service slow. Even in the off season - locals only - the service was very slow.

We were seated promptly and our drinks came right away and placed our order. Then we waited...and waited....and waited. No explanation. Drinks were refilled. We waited. The restaurant had about 6 tables full (ours included) at various stages of their meals.

It took about 25 mins to get our appetizers (Chicken bites and Garlic/Cheese bread). It's really too bad, they were not good at all. Very disappointing, hardly any garlic on the bread. About 5 mins after that our pizza arrived.

Thankfully, the pizza was good. They have a very yeast-flavored crust. If you don't like the taste of yeast, you may not like their pizza. It was hot, lots of cheese and good flavor. The slices were very large and we ended up cutting them in half on the large deep-dish pizza. The deep-dish equates to hand tossed FYI.

I would eat here again or pick up for carry-out. The pizza is not gourmet. If you want gourmet, go to Sweet Basilico's. However, this pizza was tasty. It's about the same price as Sweet B's...so it just depends on what flavor you are going for. I like both pizza places, so will be coming back to enjoy ONLY the pizza (not the appetizers - we didn't have the salad bar).

It was just average tasting...a bit pricey. Would still go again though. Convenient location.

The cheese and sausage on our thin crust pizza was great. The shrimp was average. The crust was good, rather basic but with the richness of the cheese and sausage, it was a good compliment. You could easily make a meal of the salad bar and several people around us did just that. In addition to the usual vegetable offerings, lettuce and spinach, they had three bean salad, potato salad, pasta salad, macaroni salad, ham, chopped eggs, crackers--everything you would want for a meal. The atmosphere is very casual and pleasant. Service was friendly. They offer a variety of specialty pizzas plus build your own and other Italian entrees and sandwiches.
