We enjoyed a relaxing dinner on the patio. Food quality was good and our entrees tastey. We had the elk shepherds pie and trout. Yummy! Price was ok for value . Only complaint was slow service. We would eat here again and enjoyed it much more than our other dining experience in Estes Park.

This restaurant has a nice atmosphere and fairly descent food. It doesn't do much to distinguish itself from the rest of the restaurants along the main strip in Estes Park (they tend to seem the same) but this is as good as any!

We treated ourselves to a meal out in the Grubsteak since the restaurant was recommended by our hotel staff. The elk burgers were very good and the portions were large. One of us tried the Colorado trout, it was well-prepared, fresh and tasty. Tomato basil soups and caesar salads were ordinary. The service was prompt and helpful. Worth a try.

We were here recently for lunch. There was a total of four of us. My husband and I have eaten here before and so we thought it would be a good place to take our son and his wife who were visiting Estes Park for the first time. I will say that the food was very good. Service was fine. Nothing out of the ordinary but good. My husband and myself split the Reuben sandwich which we think is excellent. One of the best Reubens we have had. The beers served come out cold and good. My son tried the Yak burger and thought it was also excellent and was very glad he tried it. It was a very pleasant day in Estes that afternoon and so sitting outside was an added plus. We give this place high marks and will come back again.

We had a great meal. The homemade chips and salsa (made everyday) were worth going back for. Very very good. And the hamburger was really good. I add brisket that was just average but the fries were really good.
