Notch top is not a fancy restaurant, but has a hometown cafe feel. We went for breakfast on a busy Saturday morning and found the service a little slow - no problem since we weren't in a hurry and the server was quite friendly.
As far as food, the menu is huge - almost too big. But the steak hash breakfast I had was excellent and the Denver omelet with gluten free toast my wife had was also very good (my wife thought the gluten free bread was so good that she ordered a few other gluten free bakery items as carry out snacks). Food was good enough to draw us in again the next day.
I would recommend notchtop for their good breakfast food quality and large portions to start an active day.
