Before I sat down here to put “pen to paper”(?) I read a bunch of the reviews about Ram’s Horn so I’ll try not to be redundant. My family and I have been coming to Estes Park (A tip …. It’s pronounced Es-tess not Es-tees) for years. It’s our favorite mountain vacation destination and Ram’s Horn is hands down our first choice when choosing a resort in Estes. While we have been here during the “school year” when the atmosphere is understandably more subdued, the “summer vacation” months have dominated our experience at Ram’s Horn and in Estes Park. Our early visits to Ram’s Horn with children have grown to three generations now with plenty for the shortest to the grayest to enjoy. The property is dominated by trees and grass rather than blacktop but the sun worshipers can singe their skin at the pool.
Over the years we’ve noted many upgrades to the resort (best Wi-Fi in town now, Yippee!), but during all that time the one thing that has never required updating has been the drive to make the Ram’s Horn experience as satisfying as possible for Ram’s Horn owners, RCI traders and rental guests alike. Since “satisfying” is in the eyes of the beholder the personal touch is the method most used. Think of Ram’s Horn as a rather large bed and breakfast with management, staff and any number of critters of various sizes and shapes who take great pride in inviting you into their HOME.
So I urge you to take a few minutes to visit the website and learn about Ram’s Horn before deciding where you and your family will choose to spend your time here. There’s even a picture of me there but “I was so much older then, I’m younger than that now.”

Room tip: All the homes are equally resplendent.

We loved our two bedroom condo. It is very well maintained, the staff is outstanding and the high speed WiFi internet access is a major plus. The location near the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park made for easy access to the park for day hikes and site seeing drives into the park. The views are breathtaking as well as encounters with wildlife - Elk, Deer, Moose, Fox, Owls, birds, and of course wildflowers. Plenty of good dining in town or grilling on your own outside the condo. The family enjoyed sitting around the fire pit making smores and meeting neighbors. Without a doubt a great place to stay and own!

We are back again and Rams Horn is as wonderful as last year. A few furniture upgrades are noticed and appreciated, including more seating in the three bedroom unit. This is our first time having a stand alone two bedroom unit in our grouping. The master on the main layout is perfect for the teenager to be upstairs and have great privacy. All three of our units are close to each other, and we look forward to a gorgeous week in Estes Park. Thanks as always to the wonderful staff for the welcome wine and cheese, Sunday waffles, and especially to Tiffany for getting our three units around the pool!

We met a group of family members here and had three cabins. Location is excellent with just a short drive to the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Forest. Cabins were clean and kitchen was stocked with everything one would need. Each cabin had a charcoal grill and there were gas grills scattered around that one could also use. Kids loved swimming in the pool and there were free bikes they could jump on and ride. We had a two bedroom cabin with three flat screen televisions. Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in the area.

My parents have a time share here and had all of us up last week. We had our own 2 bedroom cabin and loved it! One bedroom up and one down-both with their own bathrooms. Full kitchen stocked with dishes and cooking pans.

Only a 5 min drive from the entrance to Rocky Mountain National park and about 8 min from downtown Estes Park.

Free laundry on site, pool and hot tub. Great clubhouse with games and lounge area.
