“A Relaxing Get Away!”
Reviewed July 5, 2013

We really enjoyed our stay at Glacier lodge! We have 6 and 11 year old girls that enjoyed the pool, playground and the horseback riding. They enjoyed the evening with the marshmallow roast. It was nice to get unplugged (the wifi, internet and cell phone service was spotty) and enjoy our family. All the comforts of home was available at the Lodge and if we needed anything all we did was ask and we were accommodated. We have already sent the link to Glacier Lodges website to one of our friends and will stay again should we stay in Estes Park again. Thank you for the wonderful break from the hub bub.

Our family of 10 had 2 cabins, side by side, and everyone from the grandparents to the nearly 5 year old had a blast at Glacier Lodge. There was always some special each day or evening. We all enjoyed the pool, horses, special activities, and soccer, basketball, tether ball, etc. Good selection of DVDS and games in the office. We grilled and ate together in the evenings. The use of picnic tables was wonderful. The cabins were very clean and well equipped. We all had an awesome time! Thanks for the great memories.

Room Tip: Cabins near the pool were great with small children.

We had a great time @Glacier Lodge, in Estes Park, during our family reunion. My husband and I had a small cabin named, Whispering Pines, and the name fits it perfectly. The cabin is just the right size for a couple an dhad a full bed, small living area with a sofa, desk, coffee maker, microwave and tiny refridgerator. The bathroom is small but comes complete with shampoo, conditioner, body lotion and hairdryer! My only suggestion is that they change out the old shower head, with a better flow, as the old shower head is too narrow so the water hurts as it comes out...felt like needles on my back! My favorite part of the cabin is the small covered deck, I loved sitting there watching the river flow!
The staff does a wonderful job making you feel at home, eith the community breakfast and the Friday night sing-a-long with Cowboy Brad.
We will definately be back!

For our reunion, we stayed at the Timberlodge cabin for a week. We had 21 family members in attendance. Everyone loved the rustic ambiance, beautiful tongue-and-groove pine walls and ceilings, the big stone fireplace, cozy and comfortable leather sofas and the huge kitchen. Also the riding stable on site and the swimming pool, basketball, tether ball, badminton, pony rides and the generous complimentary cowboy breakfast on Thursday morning. What more could you want! The Rangelos family and the staff are so accommodating and friendly. The location is perfect-on the river, shady and quiet, close to RMNP entrance and just far enough away from the busy town of Estes Park.

What a delightful 2-night stay and way too short! We loved staying in Singing Water - hearing the rush of the river outside the window, baking chocolate chip cookies in the fully appointed kitchen, challenging each other with board games from the office, and slumbering peacefully in really comfortable beds. We need to come again to play some shuffleboard, hike the property, and spend some time in the pool. Thank you Trip Advisor for helping us find Glacier Lodge.

I've stayed at Glacier Lodge many times mostly because I LOVE being alongside the river and in a quiet/private area. The cabins themselves are not fancy, but the staff are very friendly, the area is safe, quiet and a great rustic mountain feel. They have fun horse back riding for kids with onsite stables run by fun staff. And even onsite smores and Cowboy Brad singing by the campfire. A very family, loving feel. If you are looking for a high end interior cabin, this is not your spot. But if you want to relax on your own deck, in quiet look over the mountain river and just relax...this is a great spot for you.

The experience started with booking our stay. Months prior to our arrival. Awesome customer service and a lot of patience answering a ton of questions. Upon checking in we were greeted with smiling faces and friendly staff. When entering our cabin tears took over my emotion of overjoy. It was beautiful....I know there are photos on the website but it was a different experience being there knowing I worked hard for this vacation and made a fantastic choice in accomodations. It was the attention to details that made it extra special. Aveda toiletries, toilet paper roses and fanned towels are just the starters. Wood was delivered daily, linen service was offered as frequently as needed and free entertainment nightly.
