“Troubles with the grass this year”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 18, 2013

I really don't want to diss my local course, but the grasses had severe winter-kill this year (2013), and as of late June to course is barely playable. If you are planning a QUALITY golf experience when visiting Colorado this summer, you may want to research golf courses an hour or so away on the Front Range - in Fort Collins or Loveland, etc. or take a trip over Trail Ridge Road and play a course in Grand County.

But DO visit Estes Park!

“Love this golf course”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 3, 2013

This course is everything you'd expect in a mountain course at 8000 ft. The staff is hospitable and club up because the ball will fly forever up there.

“great short track”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 27, 2013

At what is now considered and executive length by most standards, this course is fun and beautiful. Watch out for the elk when they decide to join the foursome

“Fun course”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 28, 2013 via mobile

I happened to go on a rainy day but it was still a fun course and a pretty reasonable value. I didn't get to see the elk but the views are breathtaking a is. I would recommend it even with kids.

“Don't hit an elk”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 3, 2013

This is unarguably one of the most beautiful golf courses (public or private) in the world. The greens and fairways are well-maintained, the price is right and the course is challenging for both 100+ and scratch golfers, alike. Be careful, however, and don't conk a grazing elk with that 300 yard drive of yours!
