The Blue Spruce two bedroom cabin met our needs and expectations. The cabin was clean and was adequately and comfortably furnished for our party of four. Despite it being a little high in price, I will likely consider this property again for our next trip to Estes Park.

My boyfriend and I stayed in the Ponderosa for a weekend away. It was perfect! So perfect in fact that he proposed to me while we were there :) The cabin was clean, private, very homey, and comforting, as well as accommodating. I loved the no kids/pets/visitors policy, that made for a quiet, couples only getaway. We didn't have to worry about bringing any essentials either, John and Marcy have already thought of everything! From utensils and pans to candles by the Jacuzzi tub, everything you need is there. We did quite a bit of hiking, and being able to enjoy the hot tub afterwards was just awesome. As well as the bed, SUPER comfy!!! The little river that runs directly outside the cabin was the most peaceful sound there is, we didn't shut the window the entire time we were there! The entrance to the park is only about 3 miles away from the cabin, so it was perfect to get up early, enjoy the wildlife and see everything the park really has to offer. I also loved having the option to cook a meal instead of having to go out. The fireplace was cozy and romantic to cuddle up in front of while watching a movie. The heated floor in the bathroom was just icing on an already stellar cake! If you're looking to getaway from it all, and to enjoy your significant other without any distractions, this is the place for you! We highly recommend Fall River Cabins, and will not stay anywhere else when visiting Estes.

If you love the outdoors and a little bit of alone time with your significant other, this is the place for you. My husband and I stayed in the Blue Spruce in November 2013. Very clean! We had a hot tub on the deck along with a grill for cooking. A little river runs right outside with walking access to it. You can hear the water flowing right outside the bedroom. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, cookware, dishes, and even some spices and coffee. An entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park is right up the road. Perfect location.

My husband and I wanted to get away for a weekend just by ourselves for our anniversary. They thought of everything to make your stay pleasant, the hot tubs were great, the view was perfect. We got snow the first night there and it was like a winter wonderland. We had planned on eating out most of our stay but the cabin was so cozy we decided to stay in for dinner. They do not allow guests or children so keep that in mind when planning your stay, We personally loved the fact that there was hardly anyone around it was quiet and peaceful.

This was the 3rd or 4th visit to Fall River Cabins for my wife and I, and there will be many more. These cabins, as well as the owners, are awesome. No detail is overlooked. The cabins are always spotlessly clean. Everything you will need is supplied. My wife and I stayed 5 nights this trip. We started a few years ago with 3 night stays, not enough. It will be at least 5 nights from now on. Thank you John and Marcy for our wonderful stay. We will be back. Your cabins are great.

We stayed in the Ponderosa cabin for a romantic, kid free getaway. We were really impressed with this cabin! The owners were great and we had everything we needed in the cabin. The private hot tub on the balcony was a nice touch, you can hear the river flowing. Such a nice, cozy, quiet getaway!

My significant other and I came up to Estes Park for our first getaway together, and couldn't have been happier with the Pinecone cabin as part of Fall River Cabins. It was easy to find, within walking distance of the little shops/restaurants downtown, and very peaceful with the Fall River running right behind it. The cabin was clean, warm (having the thermostat control the gas fireplace meant there was ambiance the whole time), well-furnished, and the little touches like candles by the tub or a blanket for movie-watching were all included. It was also a very short drive to Rocky Mountain National Park, and in case you forget anything, there's a grocery store about 5 minutes away. I also want to say that John (the owner) was very good about communicating with us prior to our stay, as the horrible flood happened just shortly before our trip was approaching. He gave us new directions since roads had been closed, and was very professional about our questions to determine if the flood would impact our stay. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.
