We came to estes park and rented long ' peak rv. It was nice and clean. They really did load it with everything we needed. We just brought our clothes and food. There was a gas fire ring and a grill. In town there were fun things to do like horse drawn carriage rides, mini golf, fishing, and there was a farmers market Thursday and we bought honey and some home made jam. Paradise on the river was very peaceful and you can hear the rushing of the river. The owners/managers were nice. Everything was great. It was a very comfortable camper we stayed in. Going to come back next year and try a cabin!

We rented the Longs Peak RV and had the most wonderful time. The camp host and staff were wonderful. WiFi worked okay, but who checks mail when you are on vacation! We have tent camped at Estes Park in the past, but wanted an upgrade. This is a quiet site that is very close to RMNP, horseback riding, and the shops at Estes Park. You can not go wrong staying here. Thanks Paradise on the River, our experience at your park will be a very fond memory for years to come.

Our family enjoyed 3 relaxing days in the pet friendly Creek View Cabin. My wife and I, our 2 kids and dog. The staff here was super friendly and helpful. The cabin was clean and entire property was well kept. The deck of our cabin was perched over the beautiful Big Thompson River with mountains as a backdrop. I guess thats why they call it paradise on the river. The nightly rates were slightly higher than other cabin properties but its worth the extra few bucks for such a nice place. We would go back again in a heartbeat. There are not many cons to speak of but only two worth mentioning. The property is very private and quiet but the cabins and rv sites are cramped close together so if you are the type who doesnt like neighbors nearby and enjoy your space you may want to stay elsewhere. However we enjoyed the tight knit feel and everyone was friendly and respectful of others. The other minor issue in this cabin is there is no dining area inside, just tv tray carts if you need to dine inside. It wasnt an issue for us however as we had nice weather and dined outside at the table on the deck. We also used the fire ring to roast marshmallows with the kids. It was a delightful experience spending time on the deck outside. The views and sounds of nature were priceless. Hope we make it back here again.

Room Tip: All cabins have different amenities so be sure to inquire when booking

We really enjoyed our stay here. Very friendly, helpful owners and a beautiful property where you can just relax along the river. Thank you!! We stayed in an RV spot to test our new camper before a long trip, but were able to see inside one of the cabins as well. The deck was great and inside was beautifully decorated, and I am looking forward to coming back to stay in one.

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary. The service is excellent. After a scheduling mishap that was out of our control, Carol graciously moved our reservation. We stayed in the Wind River. We loved that it was slightly apart from the other cabins and rvs. It was also surrounded with a nice green lawn and was just a few feet from the rolling river. The cabin was nicely decorated with a mountain theme and was immaculately clean. The short distance to Rocky Mountain Nat'l Park is a huge plus. We can't wait to go back to Paradise for another restful vacation.

We had a great stay over Memorial Day weekend in the Brookside cabin. It looked like it had just been refurbished and it had all the dishes, utensils, etc. we needed. It was small and cozy but we really enjoyed it. The deck which was right above the river and we enjoyed the fire pit at night and BBQing. Even though the cabin was next to an RV and a cabin/office on the other side it felt very private. The sound of the river at night was nice as well.

The location near Rocky Mountain National Park was ideal and it wasn't too far to the shops, etc.

One note: We did run out of hot water when we washed dishes, then showered. But that was very minor compared to everything that is right with the cabin.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Brookside so can't comment on the others. The Brookside cabin was very nice an...

We stayed in the River Bend Cabin. Everything was spotless and in perfect condition. The kitchen was fully stocked and even had some coffee and half and half. Even though there are cabins on both sides, an outdoor curtain provided privacy. It was too cold in early May to sit on the deck, but there are two comfy recliners in the living room where you can relax and enjoy the gorgeous view. The room is really small but suited our needs perfectly. The bed was comfortable. The only negative thing I can say is that the pillows weren't great. Otherwise, perfection! I would definitely come back.

Room Tip: The River Bend cabin has great views!
