My wife and I booked one night at the Della Terra in the Dusk Room and words cannot express how wonderful it was. From the wonderful check-in to the delicious breakfast (served in our room). Our suite was spacious. I loved how we could plug in our IPad and have our music played through out the suite. The hot tub on the deck was perfect for an early morning spa while watching the snow gently fall in the mountains. The bed was FIRM and that was great! Comfy pillows and warm blankets to comfort us. Everything was magical! Our breakfast was a Southwestern omelet-type on a tortila with very spicy sausage. Yumm!

We stayed two nights! One in The Horizon and one in The Sun. We LOVED it! Both were fantastic! The detail in the building and the friendliness of the staff are unmatched. We are David travelers and this was one of the most romantic and beautiful vacation spots! Worth every penny!!!

My husband and I stayed at this resort in the Big Horn cabin for our 20th anniversary. The cabin was plenty of room for the 2 of us, but would probably need more if we brought our 2 children. The cabin was clean and had everything that we needed. The kitchen area seemed well equipped though I have to admit that I didn't cook while there. The electric fireplace heated the cabin nicely and it was a nice detail that it was shared with the bedroom. One of the beds in the bedroom was a memory foam bed. This may sound like a positive but it was very uncomfortable. The best feature, in my opinion was the PRIVATE hot tub that faced the mountains! We enjoyed this each day (sometimes twice a day), especially after a long hike! The location of the resort was amazing. It was just down the road from the Rocky Mountain National Park entrance.

Room Tip: We were a little disappointed that our large picture window faced the dumpsters. In reality, though...

My wife and I stayed for our second time from Sep. 8th through the 10th. (The 1st time was in 2010 and was very nice) It was great! The rooms are very relaxing and the beds are SUPER comfortable! We stayed on the first floor the first night and we had some noisy people upstairs. The staff was VERY accommodating and friendly. They asked if we wanted to switch to a room on the third floor without us even asking, which we did. It was a great experience and we will be returning next year!! Thank you for a wonderful stay!!!!!

Room Tip: We have seen 3 different rooms and they were equally spectacular!

Went here a few days ago for a wedding. They did a great job. The outside seating area is stone, but the staff handed out a cushion so sitting through the service was comfortable. It was just a great view.
The reception was inside and on the deck. Both were well done. The food was not great, but feeding 200 hot food is probably difficult. The taste was OK.
We did not stay on the property because it was sold out, but we toured a few rooms. They were outstanding! We will try the property next time we are in Estes.

My husband and I spent a week in the Big Horn cabin with our pug. AMAZING! The view from the outdoor hot tub was stunning. We would come back from hiking, touring, and rafting early just to enjoy gorgeous sunsets. The cabin itself is very spacious and well kept. My only complaint is the lack of air conditioning. We went during the High Park fires in June 2012 which was one of the hottest and driest on record. The chateau did provide a portal air unit, but it just couldn't keep up with the heat during the day. Even though we didn't spend a lot of time in the cabin during the day, it was still a bummer. Also, the portable unit needed to be refilled with water... OFTEN! A couple of small window units would have made my entire trip perfect. As it is, we are planning to return to the cabin during winter. I bet it'll be just heaven!

Room Tip: All of the cabins look great!

Spent three nights at this beautiful property. Stayed in lower room at the chateau, which was busy, all three week nights with weddings, but there was no noise or confusion. Our suite was wonderful, topnotch room and furnishings, bathroom was a suite in itself with walk in shower, and a copper tub, and huge fountain as center piece. Della Terra has great location right next to gate of park. They served light but tasty breakfast each morning, and wait staff was very sweet and helpful. Cannot say enough good things about Della Terra. Beds were very comfortable, TV had satellite Direct TV and they have a lot of DVD's that you can take to your room. Also wonderful wine selection. We will be back.

Room Tip: lower level rooms were slightly less expensive, and probably less bothered by wedding parties. but...
