“Breathtaking”

We spent five nights during the week of Thanksgiving. We arrived to the condo that had been cleaned with great care and was immaculate. The condo was beautiful and fully equipped with everything we needed with additional towels, linens, coffee, etc as needed. The beds were comfortable. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. There were four adults and more than enough room for all of us. We loved the outdoor space on the deck and hot tub view. The views were amazing and as advertised. The staff was great. We ran out of firewood and made one call to get some more. We had problems with the internet and one of the staff came up to fixed it. The internet connection continued to work off and on but more off than on during our stay. Cell phone coverage is sparse at best so I enjoyed no phone calls. The staff will give you a phone number to the condo when you arrive for you to use during your stay. All you will need to bring is food. The condo has all of your cooking utensils. The kitchen has a microwave, big fridge/freezer and great stove with oven. There is a nice dining area and a living room with a fireplace and a TV with DVD player. A washer and dryer are in the condo for your use. We were happy and lucky enough to get over a foot of snow while we were there. The roads leading up the mountain were cleared quickly after the snow which made it easy to go up and down the mountain. I do recommend an AWD or four wheel drive if you go in the winter. The temperature was in the single digits some days but the condo stayed warm and cozy. There was someone who stayed in the condo above us so you will have to get used to a few noises from above. This is a gem of a property. We only saw a few deer but saw plenty of wildlife tracks in the snow. We plan to come back in the future!

The condo was lovely. It was spotless and had everything we needed. The view was breathtaking and the hot tub and fireplace made our vacation so relaxing. I honestly could not have wanted for anything more and cannot wait to go back!

“Fantastic view of Rocky Mountain National Park”

The most spectacular part is the view from the living room. A fantastic view of RMNP, Longs Peak at 14,000 ft was right out the window. Sunrise was even more spectacular with the Sun shining on the very peak first then gradually the rest of the mountain. Also great views of the valley below. The view you have is always changing, it never looks the same. The condo was better than our expectations and we had built it up in our minds a lot in the weeks leading up to our vacation. The decor was just like in the pics, very cozy and comfortable. We got a lot of use of the fireplace and hot tube.
TIPS: All the basic paper products were supplied in the condo, you don't need to bring any. Kitchen was fully furnished with pots pans, dishes, and glasses. MOST IMPORTANTLY, IF IT IS THE SNOWY SEASON, YOU MUST HAVE A FOUR WHEEL DRIVE VEHICLE TO GET UP THE ROAD TO THE CONDO!

Thank you so much for your review. We have to agree with you that the views are phenomenal. In fact, Windcliff is known for its unparalleled views of the Continental Divide of the Rockies.
We try very hard to let all of our guests know that from October through April an all wheel or 4 wheel drive vehicle is necessary to navigate the roads. Our Windcliff roads are very well maintained by the homeowner's association, but they can become snowpacked and icy at times. We regret that you did not receive that information prior to your arrival. We hope that you visit Windcliff again!

Between 4 and 5 stars. Switchback road almost to the top of the mountain; highest building on the road. The views of snow topped mountains are wonderful, especially at sunrise and sunset.
Nice mountain decor. Master bedroom- nice bath but without door between sink and bedroom area, private toilet, closet with hanging area and two small dresser/bedside tables to handle your luggage. Low water pressure and softened water. Sheets were scratchy but there is a foam mattress topper so the mattress was comfortable for us.
2nd bedroom- two twin beds, open to sink area of bath, but private shower and toilet area.
Kitchen is well equipped.
You can hear people walking around upstairs and drawers closing, but otherwise it was very quiet. Neighborhoood is dark and quiet at night with no lights or outside noise after 9 pm.
VERY small turn around & parking area, so you really have to park in the garage shared with upper unit.
We will definitely go back.
Arrived after office closed. Our packet of info was on the door.
Wifi was good. Absolutely no cell service.

“Our home away from home”
Reviewed June 27, 2014 for a stay in June 2014

My husband and I had a wonderful stay in Cedar Lower. We were pleasantly surprised by the well stocked kitchen. It had all of the amenities to cook with, and extras like sugar and spices. It is a spacious condo, with more than enough room for a family of four.

The highlights to staying here was the deck overlooking Long's Peak/RMNP, the hot tub on the deck, and the fireplace. The king size bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable, too. After a long day on the hiking trail, it was great to come back to our "home away from home", sit on the deck with a glass of wine and grill our dinner. When the sun went down, it gets a little cool. The hot tub was a great way to soak our sore muscles from our long hikes.

The staff was very nice and accommodating, as well.
