What a nice little coffee shop! We enjoyed our coffee and egg sandwich in the company of some of the locals. What a cute place to start the morning. It was a bonus that our egg sandwiches were served on home made English muffins. Very tasty. We will definitely be going there again when we are in Estes Park.

We travel to Estes every fall to watch the elk and go to 'Coffee on the Rocks'. This is the best little coffee shop ever, run by the friendliest gals you'll ever hope to find. This year we ended up in Estes a little earlier than normal, so at the tail end of the Labor Day weekend they were just a little more than frazzled as the whole town was PACKED. (Note to self: Avoid Estes Park on holidays)

It's located on a little pond and set back a bit from the road, so you can order your coffee and then enjoy it while you sit by the pond and watch the ducks, or outside on the deck that overlooks the area. Inside they have a nice "living room" area as well that is comfortable and will allow you to spread out and use the free wi-fi. They also serve up a small selection of breakfast pastries and burritos, etc.

Coffee on the Rocks is always a highlight of our trip and we go EVERY morning without exception and order the Bombay Chimney, which is cofffee in cup that has been coated with Nutella. Sure, we could make it at home, but we reserve this special treat for our trips to this special little spot. Our visits toEstes Park just wouldn't be the same without this little gem of a place.

During our stay in Estes Park we loved beginning the days here. We liked the coffee, croissant breakfast sandwiches, pastries, and atmosphere.
