Description: The award winning Wapiti Colorado Pub celebrates and embodies all things Colorado. From the amazing views to the beautiful, if unpredictable, weather. From the glorious foods grown, raised and created here to the amazing range of craft and micro brewed beers and wines. From the wonderful people who call Colorado home to the travelers that come to celebrate Colorado with us. The Wapiti believes that food should made fresh using as many local ingredients as they can. They have a wide range of great food from which to choose. Their menu includes juicy burgers, thick cut steaks, pub style sandwiches, crisp salads, succulent game meats, and so much more. They also have the largest all Colorado beer list in the state.

“Nice atmosphere, room for improvement”
Reviewed September 17, 2013

Wanted to taste local game while in Colorado, we asked around and the wapiti was recommended. Thought that a pub named after an Elk there would be more of a selection. Anything Elk was far pricier than beef. I suppose you can expect that in a heavy tourist area. They brag about burgers but were not that good. Nice atmosphere i'll give it that just dont expect much out of the food.

“Mediocre food, pushed through 3 waiters. Look for another choice.”
Reviewed September 9, 2013

Not that you would necessarily expect haute cuisine from a tourist town restaurant, but given the multitude of selection, I hoped it would be tasty. We waited 25 minutes for our food, and the place wasn't that busy. Families with non-supervised children and seniors mostly occupied the tables, with an occasional younger couple or honeymooners sprinkled in. All three different waiters might have accomplished our food order more quickly, but sadly, no.

“Best place for dinner in Estes”
Reviewed September 8, 2013

We ate at Rock Inn and it was the worst meal ever - the Wapiti wasn't even on my list due to other negative reviews but when the waitress at Notchtop Bakery (awesome breakfast) recommended it, we decided to give it a shot. In a town with LOTS of bad dining options this place is a winner. Great service, food, and atmosphere. Pricing is reasonable and to top it off they give you Oreos with hour check. We had burgers and a quesadilla for an app. Best meal of our entire stay. Large local beer selection along with the run of the mill beers if you are missing home.

“Okay but no need to return”
Reviewed September 4, 2013

Average place. Server was very nice but not very efficient. Food was not a culinary delight. Chicken in salad was vulcanized. BBQ sandwich was ordinary. Held the door open for the boxed (frozen?) food delivery driver on my way into the place. Believe I'll look further afield on my next visit to Estes Park.

“Stopped in after reviews & menu stop”
Reviewed September 3, 2013

Had seen reviews and looked at menu, pork tenderloin sandwich was home made and resonable so I had to try it! Husband ordered Cowboy Chow pasta, I had pork tenderloin sandwich and sweet potato fries. All of it was AWESOME! Even my husband liked my pork sandwich and he is not a huge fan. Brian was our waiter and we sat outside. Fine beer selection as well. Very satisfied!
