Longz is the hotel restaurant at the Holiday Inn in Estes Park. The menu looked like it had a decent offering and it was convenient since we were staying at the hotel. However, the food was mediocre and the service was amateurish. The only items on the menu worth eating were the burgers and the bison chilli. The chicken in the chicken sandwich was small--about half the size of the bun and there was a strip of some sort of rubber-looking food attached to the bun which may have been cheese. Our waiter was fairly arrogant and obviously had very little experience serving people. He referred to the ineptness of the kitchen staff several times and also blamed the out-of-print menu for his mistakes. When my side salad arrived as nothing but a plate of lettuce, I questioned him about it and he told me that I was basically getting it for free so it was just going to be lettuce and nothing more (I substituted the salad for the french fries so it wasn't free). This place is a typical hotel establishment and although the prices were good, there are probably several better choices in this lovely town!
