Description: KIND offers Estes Park's only roasted coffee- all certified organic and fair trade. We're also a full service coffee shop- organic teas, fresh fruit smoothies, milkshakes, and a slew of breakfast and lunch items. While you're here, enjoy free WiFi (with any purchase); riverfront seating and access; great Estes Park souvenir shopping and don't forget the dog sitter (or friend or family) so get some poundage (of fresh roasted beans) to take home with you! Are you a local (or tourist?) Find Kind Coffee on Facebook to take advantage of Deals and be notified of specials and new coffees/events. History Established in 2002. Kind Coffee is dynamically committed to supporting local communities and promoting the sustainability of our environment. We consider it our mission to provide customers the opportunity to positively impact the planet through the purchase of our high quality roasts. Each bean that comes out of our roastery is chemical free, fairly traded, shade grown, certified organic, Swiss Water decaffeinated, good for you and the environment. In other words, Kind is what coffee should be. Kind's intent extends beyond a profit, attempting to reach the consumer's principles, perhaps enticing other businesses to do the same. We are thrilled to be able to give of our time, energy, money and, of course, coffee, to non-profit organizations and other causes and events in order to give back to the community that supports us. This example, we hope, will encourage coffee drinkers to keep choosing fairly traded, shade grown, certified organic coffee that celebrates life and the preservation of our world.

“Great coffee”
Reviewed May 25, 2014 via mobile

Nice place to go in and escape the rain. Great coffee and hot chocolate. The staff was very nice and friendly. Not enough seats, but it has a wonderful atmosphere with windows right on the river.

“Love the BIG WINDOWS!”
Reviewed May 21, 2014

I am a heat seeker, and coffee drinker. I LOVE going to kind coffee and bringing my out-of-town guests here because (I respect Starbucks, don't get me wrong!) it's different and local! C'mon, guests and tourists have already seen Starbucks before, so why not try something different!

I love sitting in the windows and soaking up the sun, but only wish the drinks were a little bigger. (I've been spoiled by large cups).

They do run a little less sweet than Starbucks, so make sure if this is your first time, they run a little less sweet, and make sure to specify what type of milk you'd like.

No complaints...(okay, except for wanting bigger cups).

“The bagged coffee is good. The staff is not as friendly as the product. ”
Reviewed May 19, 2014 via mobile

We stopped for coffee and a purchase of local whole beans. We found a decent selection of locally roasted beans and asked questions and for a taste of what was brewing. The staff was not very versed in what the different blends and roasts were like. And when we asked questions they seemed annoyed. We did purchase beverages but they were sub par in taste. We were totally happy with the whole bean coffee. I will buy the beans, but we will goto Coffee On The Rocks for better beverages and service.
