Why should I write this when there is nothing to write but compliments like everyone else. Super clean. Convenient location. LOVED taking the VERY steep hike up the private trail (on the other side of the river) that links to Deer Trail area inside Rocky Mountain National Park. wifi fades in and out a bit but you survive. We were able to update client web pages with only slight frustration. Wait...there is one suggestion.....if owned the place I'd spend $40 and buy a standard bed frame (the metal kind that supports a mattress and box spring) and then get rid of the footboard on the bed. The entire bed barely fits in it's alcove in Unit 5 so it's hard to navigate around a wood footboard in the dark. Otherwise...great!

We had the BEST time!! We took our honeymoon in Estes Park and were HIGHLY recommend by friends to stay at Stonebrook. We stay in Cabin #8 and soooo BEAUTIFUL and the staf was so friendly. We were there from June 11-15 and we will for sure be back next year and will stay with Stonebrook again. LOVE LOVE IT....Comfy, nice, clean and you get your moneys worth.

Room Tip: Cabin # 8 is the one we stayed in and it was great

We had room #7. Just a list of everything we were looking for and found...

jacuzzi in room
private hot tub next to the river
updated amenities
fireplace

This place had it all. I would recommend this place to anyone looking in Estes Park.

We loved our stay! We planned on only staying 4 nights but loved it so much that we decided to stay two more. Mike graciously made arrangements for us in another room.

Everything about our experience at Stonebrook Resort was close to perfect. We arrived late in the evening, and called that day to tell them we would be arriving late. When we drove it, we found our keys and a welcome note on the door of the lodge. The room we stayed in (10B) was absolutely enormous and much better than we could have anticipated. There was a huge living area with a kitchen, fireplace, spacious bathroom, and nice patio overlooking the river and into the woods. Downstairs was a quiet bedroom with a big, very comfortable bed. We slept like rocks at night because it was so peaceful, with the only noise coming from the rushing river nearby. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, offering great suggestions for day hikes nearby. One day, at their suggestion, we took a hike that started on the property of the resort and continued up into Rocky Mountain National Park, and were delighted to have the trail to ourselves (except for a few deer!) for the entire day. The resort is a 5 minute drive from the entrance to the park, and 5 minutes the other direction from downtown Estes Park. I would definitely stay again and highly recommend it as a great choice in the area.
