Second time on our first trip to the Front Range we tried something based on something different and unexpected, and were pleasantly surprised. Nepal's is not easy to find unless you're really observant from the street - you'll see a tiny sign on the corner of a building at the corner of Elkhorn and East Riverside - the restaurant is around the back of the building on Elkhorn. Ok, so you found the restaurant - it's got maybe 9 tables for 2 and 4 and maybe 6, so it's small, but that's not terrible. We called ahead for a reservation and got seated about 2 minutes after arriving. The tables turned and were full the whole time we were there on a Monday night. The food was interesting, flavors complex, the service courteous and friendly - as noted in other reviews. Although the place was full, we didn't feel like the service was slow, and while we left full, we didn't feel heavy. We'll return when we return.

Read some mixed reviews of this place, but I'm telling you, it was worth looking for it off the beaten path. The service was warm and inviting, the food was delicious, and it was a treat watching the family who owns this restaurant as they interacted. Felt like mom made dinner just for me. Great flavors! Try the chai tea.

We were brought to Nepal's by two locals who said it was their favorite restaurant in Estes Park.

My wife and I love Indian food and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the entres to come out of the small kitchen in this tiny eatery.

The shrimp and homemade noodles were wonderful flavored with just the right amount of heat. The ladies had.vegetarian masala and raved about it all night. Naan was delicious but the chocolate and coconut desert looked better than it tasted.

If your ever in this most beautiful part of
The U.S. we highly recommend Nepal's.

I'm a curry connoiseur and the meal I had at this restuarant was a very high standards. Poppadoms and Samoas were delicous and freshly made. The lamb curry was also delicous. It was freshly made and you could taste all the the various spices and flavoured to my spice request. Great portions sizes and great value for money. The service was a bit too quick on times (plate taken away when still eating last mouthful ) but the food was amazing. Also very friendly people who run the cafe. A MUST visit is you are in Estes Park.

We love Indian and Nepali food, and I usually prepare it myself. As we were out of town, we were tempted to try Nepal's Cafe. It did not disappoint! The service was prompt and cheerful, and the prices reasonable. The food was absolutely delicious, with layer upon layer of flavor, and a complexity that was truly authentic. The nan was freshly baked, and we didn't leave a crumb! The only disappointment was that the momo were fried, instead of steamed. Apart from that, we will definitely be back for more on this trip :)
